As I wanted to start a nature journal it was clear that it has to be one these. I got for that purpose the little square. Affordable, paper is okay with watercolour, easy to take with me and due to the creamy colour it doesn't hurt my eyes in the sunshine when I am taking it outdoors or under the lamp when I'm painting at home after work.
Oh yes the sun! You are absolutely right this is a benefit! Thank you so much for sharing this! Also the creamy colored pages fit perfectly to nature and green sketching ❤️
Lovely video! Your art is so colourful! I also use the Talons Creations sketchbooks! I go quite heavy with my watercolour layers, so my pages get quite crinkled and the book becomes quite chunky, but I feel like it adds to the charm 😆
Thank you! ☺️ I am absolutely with you! These crinkled wavy pages.. a chunky sketchbook.. this is the place where creativity is born 😃 And I think I never had a “bleeding through” with watercolors on this paper… 🤔 no matter how much water I used…
I love how whimsical your art is. It reminds me of books I read as a child. I hated the Art Creations sketchbooks when I first tried them because the paper is so smooth and I LOVE tooth in my paper, but they’re growing on me! I bought a big one the first time and recently got a medium sized one and the small square one for travel.
Great video! First of all, I loooove the new sketchbook spread so much!❤ The review was very interesting and useful. I think I'm gonna give them a try in the future. 😁 Btw, can't wait for your shop to open this year! 😍
Thank you! 😊 I'm using a Golden Maple Travel Brush in this video. You can get them in a Set of 3 brushes. I rly like them! I will link them in my description for you.
I absolutely love them and can't have enough of the pretty colours. I just need to create more to get through them faster. I think that the solution for the A4 one getting hard to lay flat could be to work in parallel from both ends. That way you will finish it in the middle and both sides will have similar thickness. Also if you like bright white paper - the ones with a cork cover have bright white and not cream paper (the covers are very pretty too).
It was so enjoyable to watch your process! I love your style. I like that AC sketchbooks too, I like the paper quality and I rather enjoy how the paper reacts to different media.
I like them so much that I got them in the white paper, which have decorated covers. I love your art style and your little creatures with the hair of mushrooms and trees. Thank you for sharing. Keep creating 💛💙💜
@@xoonaniart yes. You can get them in Europe. I bought mine from Artemiranda, but only because I am in Canada. They come in Cork, Art Deco and Still Life, which has florals on the cover.
Oh this is interesting! I’ve seen them with the special covers and cork.. but I didn’t know that they have white paper in it..thank you for this Tipp! I mean I love the creamy colored paper a lot, but I have to test out the others as well! 😃@@mzebony
Did I hear you say you may cut the other A4? I would love to know how that turns out since it has the hard cover as I was thinking about cutting one of mine.
@@jaimieceesatm7747 yes I want to split it in two parts.. and the hardcover will be reused for one of them and for the other I will make a cover by myself.. I could show this in a video if this is interesting for you 😊 .. And it is just a theoretic plan in my head.. I think it will work. lets try it together then.. 😀
