I watch that episode a lot and I cry every single time. I cry when I listen to the song on RU-vid. I cry when I hear someone’s name be Quentin. I cry when I see broken mirrors. I cry when I see sparks fly. I cry when I see people magically destruct. I just-I’m a mess. For real tho.

yeah lol they completely undid the queliot storyline that they had been building all season (and that they had been praised for) in favour of shoving q and alice back together for no reason. Then they kill him and he becomes another victim to the "bury your gays" trope. Not to mention the writers congratulating themselves for how woke they are by killing the "safe" white male lead. It's not progressive or woke to kill him when he's also bi and mentally ill; two groups that are underrepresented in media. Also, the way he died i felt was very disrespectful and irresponsible. To have your known depressed and suicidal character die in a self-sacrifice and become a martyr? Seriously? Q even asks if he really wanted to saved his friends or just "finally found a way to kill myself". Framing his death (which literally was a suicide) as a good and heroic act, and having q see how much his friends all loved him after he died is really irresponsible of the writers as it just serves to reinforce dangerous ideals about suicide. Sorry for the rant lol I'm just very pissed off at the writers and think they ruined a really great show

But i thought he was bisexual... cant they just have a fluid sexuality without ending in the stereotypical straight or gay ? im kinda happy they ended their relationship on a good note. and eliot wasnt really in a relationship with anyone. he was emotionaly involved with many people on a deeper level .

Magicians is canceled?

Wizards of waverly place is PG. Harry Potter is PG13. And The Magicians is rated R. Lots of sex, alcohol, drugs, murder and gore, cursing and mature topics like sexual assault and suicide. Some episodes and scenes are triggering enough that the producers had to put the Rape crisis line and suicide prevention line at the end of the episode. It's also dark BUT comedic at the same time. LOTS of comic relief intertwined with dark themes and lots of pop culture references for people to geek out on. It's hilarious to me and it's my favorite show of ALL TIME.

I'm watching all the seasons because I love the show honestly the show won't be the same with out q but I want to where it goes in season 5 and hopefully 6. I also want to see where they started hinting q and Elliot

And I swore someone started cutting a ton of onions because my eyes were watery as hell and at one point I couldn't see the TV because I cried so much. Honestly they did his death both right in some cases and and wrong in others. Like I'm sad he didn't get to see Elliot and do everything he could. But I think they did how he died right doing something to not only save his friends but the whole realm of magic. I also think the his whole conversation with Penny 40 is but amazing and bitter. And the song part just made me cry also sorry for ranting I just saw your comment and felt similar to it.

It also makes no sense, we can still know what's happening with Penny 40 and he's dead, both Eliot and Alice would do anything to save Q and also now that Kady knows what Zelda can do????

These idiots don't understand that they killed off literally the main character. It does explain what they where up too--trying to minimize Quinton Coldwater as it lead to this. Stupid, stupid, stupid and unforgivable.

@@ragerteenager968 It actually does make sense, because Penny 40 has signed a contract with the library to serve even after his dead. That's why he hasn't passed through the gate that leads to the real after life (aka death). Q did pass through that gate. Penny 40 is somewhere in between, which is why we can still see what he's up to from time to time (although not as much as we see the living ones)
