☀️ Welcome Friends! Join me today on time lapse and some chat, as I spend 5 hours doing some much needed decluttering and organizing. I have a ❗️VERY SMALL ❗️sewing space! It doesn't take very much to create an overwhelming problem for me. I think this session put me in a pretty good place for the start of 2024! At at the end the video & audio are slightly out of sync!

Great progress!!! My only suggestion would be table leg extensions to raise up your cutting surface. PVC pipes cut to 6 or 8" and placed over the table legs. Much easier cutting!

Yes, I love my higher utility table for that reason!! It came at this height! So much more comfortable! I have a 3/4 stool to sit on for sewing at this table, too. #Gateleg folding utility table. 3x5 ft open, 3x1ft folded, On castors, one locks to keep table from rolling around. I've had it for over 20 yrs.😊

I am so glad I came across you tutorials. You have inspired me to start decluttering my sewing area. I am going to start by making blocks of my scraps. I didn't really know how to start assembling the blocks, but after watching your tutorial, I am so excited and can't wait to start. I find your tutorials easy to follow .

Kitty approves of your progress!! Good work, Mom!! Meow!😻 I try to go through my closet at least 3 or 4 times a year. It isn't even as large as yours, just a standard 6 x 2 ft bedroom closet with shelves and bi-fold doors. But, I can't fit everything in there, even. I also store plastic containers in my own bedroom, and under the corner desk in sewing room. I'm also a papercrafter, so I have too hobbies to keep tidy. I gave up a few hobbies I didn't really live any longer, so I have more space to store my favorites, with less effort, and I have more time to sew and craft. After 4 + yrs of cleaning my folks house, I work to keep ours under control! "Hoarders" scares me, too!!

You did a great job and you gave me some ideas with making kits. I usually put fabric , pattern, and any thing else I might need for a specific kit I make for myself. I did not realize just how small your space was for your sewing but you came up with dynamic solutions for the allowed space.

Bravo Annette ! Vous avez super bien rangé et trié avec courage…. Je suis admirative, moi qui regarde de travers un coin de ma réserve sans réussir à m’y attaquer, c’est vraiment de l’ordre du combat, pourtant ce sont juste des bouts de tissus… allez, une bonne tasse de thé (ou de café si vous préférez), une bonne nuit de sommeil par dessus et demain jetez un œil dans le coin couture rangé et savourez le bien être que cela vous procure.
