Oh god, you sound like my husband over Helen Geak! I keep telling him that he and Helen should get a room! And that's why I won't let him watch Time Team!!!
I enjoy watching your videos of these various digs. Has Time Team ever excavated the Priory Church of Saint Mary and Saint Martin, and its earlier monastery within Blyth, Nottinghamshire, England? The monastery dates to the Domesday Survey of 1086 and was built by Lord Roger de Builli. Before the Normans came the Anglo-Saxons lived here and the surrounding area for centuries perhaps.
Every time I watch 'House of the White Queen', I think of 'The Daughter of Time', in which inspector Alan Grant is researching Richard III, and comes across to a reference to Lady Grey of Groby.
