Meet Helena 👋 Helena is co-founder and Head of Product at Moonai, a femtech startup building an app that uses personalized sounds, pain-tracking insights, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to help relieve, manage, and prevent menstrual pain.
Her journey into design started in UX writing 7 years ago, and since then has touched upon all areas of the product lifecycle, including strategy, discovery, ideation, and delivery. She’s worked at agencies and as a freelancer crafting digital experiences for a wide range of clients, most recently NDWALabs, a social innovations lab that leverages tech for social impact.
Helena started UX Academy in 2020 to get a better, holistic understanding of the entire UX lifecycle-and with the guidance and support from her mentor, decided to launch her own company to bring all those learnings and past experiences to fruition.
Her main mission in life is to make the world better for women and Moonai is her way of doing that. Outside of Moonai, when she’s not unlearning and questioning everything she thinks she knows, Helena is training in competitive swimming in the Mediterranean.
