@@user-zj4ru8yr3w8/10 man utd match…. He is defensive midfielder , his job is to win ball back and no let man United attack in counter ……he did his job ….. attackers don’t have chemistry that’s why Liverpool drew…..
Szoboslai style of shooting reminds me of juninho. When he scoring a wonderfull goal his teamates seems not suprise at all like he's been doing that on training all day.😂
This is the Liverpool that i remember under Klopp, high pressing, full of energy and creating lots of chances. Now all we need to see is Nunez to start scoring more regularly and it will be complete.
I don't think he's at full potential being that traditional 'tap in' striker. He's so much more comfortable when he's a winger, with space to exploit. If you watch highlights of his breakout season with Benfica, most of his goals came from the left handed side of the pitch.
@@joshuakithyoma9575difference is that in his first 18 months, Salah had clearly done enough to prove his worth to the side. Nunez hasn't done that and is not even close
@@joshuakithyoma9575 if you have followed Liverpool and Salah his whole career at Liverpool, he has always been like this. But the thing is, he still manages to score or assist most games. Thsts why its probably not talked about so much. If you compare the numbers of Salah to Nunez its not even close and then if you compare both of them when they first joined, well you know what will happen.
@@fredericcjm7 I did watch those highlights of him and he also displayed great touch and finishing over there. Im not where it has gone since joining Liverpool. Maybe he is putting himself under too much pressure when he plays for Liverpool?
I think Darwin Nunez plays today as a wing striker very well. I hope Klopp will let this player play this position more often than as a center forward.
Yea he did better…..problem is I’d personally rather have Luis Diaz or jota in that position when he comes back….one things for sure tho he has to continue to get minutes he’ll start putting them away….I honestly Like gapko in the front better also the dude is a solid player he does everything
@@stewartcameron1516sometimes the finishing touch is so good that you just watch the ball rolling inside the goal and there's nothing you can do about it. you look like you're old enough to know that. just enjoy the goal and stop being a cranky old man.
@@henkwilliemadriannusvander1955 you should have the sense that Man U played without almost 9 players and Liverpool also didn't many of their chances. You think an opposition will just sit back and allow others to score?
Jones and Elliot just keep getting better. And as much as I want Darwin to score more, his work rate, passing and linkup play are outstanding. Endo is really starting to shine in that deep role he plays - he plays with great composure and keeps the ball moving so well. But I think this shows that Gravenberch stifles Szobo when they play together. Szobo looked so much better than he has in recent games where he has started alongside Grav. I think Klopp needs to play one or the other - just not together!
Loving the defence the past couple matches. Passes looked much quicker. And can't deny the finishing today. Not too shabby for a team still learning their ways, and with 9 injuries!
Agree. But for me it was the first time in the last couple of months that I felt no nerves throughout the game. They seemed relaxed and pressed well. The seemed to be a balance in the team which has been lacking lately. If they play that way on Saturday against Arsenal, it could be fun.
Nunez at around @1:15 was so good, tracking back, tackles and then sprints instantly and keeps the west ham player of jones in the buildup - i think he's more suited to playing as a winger, especially during Diaz' blip in form.
That quansah’s snatched for the first goal was world class defending. He didn’t commit to the winger but instead he wait for the right time to intercept. Brilliant defending i must say.
Congratulations Liverpool. A great performance from this players in preparation for this match against Arsenal this weekend. What a win, what a players YNWA 👍
I really enjoyed watching that. High energy, quick movement of the ball, brilliant individual performances within a great team effort. This performance is synonymous of how I have seen a good Liverpool team over the last 50 years or so. (I am a lifelong Nottm Forest supporter)
Great performance and domination vs West Ham, tonight we were really U-N-S-T-O-P-A-B-LE😁😁😁😁😁 Amazing goals by Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Cody Gakpo and Mo Salah✊✊✊✊✊👍👍👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝👏👏👏👏👏
Who watch Elliot performance tonight. I wish Elliot ..Endo and Szobo Start against Arsenal. Those lad will understand each other and create multiple chances
Curtis Jones doing Messi things, also can we appreciate Harvey Elliott please?boy is hungry and he is going to be very special. His hold of the ball and read of the game is tragically under appreciated.Liverpool better not meet Chelsea while in this beast mode😫
Where has Curtis Jones been hiding? That 1st goal at THAT angle? Then walked thru West Ham for his 2nd like they didn't exist! 😮Trent with a hat trick of assists too I believe 😵💫
U need to understand he supposed to be PC10 successor but Klopp no more play AM or no. 10. So Curtis basically play as holding midfileder just like Gini. And fans always angry when he keep the ball too long. Cmon he play as what he told
Darwin’s pace on the wing forces the defense to retreat and opens space in front of their back line. The Jones 2nd goal exemplifies this. Even when Darwin doesn’t score his attributes create space in between the lines 👍
A number of really good performances. Joe Gomez, was moved around and coped, Jarell Quansah, another sound performance, Darwin Nunez nobody knows what he'll do next, even he doesn't know. Lastly Curtis Jones. What a performance. This doesn't negate the other performances, and thank you to West Ham for coming her prepared to give it a go.
This is a team playing well together. The highlight at 8:48 shows it. Salah has great insight of whether or not the player has strong control of the ball that he leaves it and gets ready to run. Granted, the next player lost the ball, but they received it from a straight hard pass with a defender covering them. That back line could see Salah ready and they were able to get the ball free to send it far enough for Salah to make his run for a 1v1.
Shobosli( apologies for butchering his name) , the way he moves, it reminds me of the young Christiano Ronaldo at United. Im not saying he'll be anything like him, but he has a similar play style!
@@TheZomboy11don't talk nonesense. Jones is excellent whenever he plays. You don't know football if you can't see the important role he plays. He never gives the ball away, he presses like a beast, great passer, works tirelessly. Klopp trusts him and majority of fanbase recognise his abilities. Get educated Muppet
@@AhmadFarid-ew2gcyeeeesss, hw plays an important role in the team, and he is one of our own. Excellent player. Gives the team balance, keeps possession. Do you actually watch Liverpool?? Obviously don't really understand football do you. Both he and Elliot are great options to have, probably not both playing together, against arsenal but other games no problems. Jones is excellent, educate yourself ffs
Both the players played well, the defense, finishing and am so surprised how Endo is even better.. He controlled that DM as he will never do it again . We trust in Klopp..We love Endo, we love Liverpool. We move❤
Trent comes off the bench and gets 2 assists. But i think the team balance is better with Jones in it. Had a great run towards the tail end of last season.
Put respect on Szoboszlai name!!! This guy has performed every single game and just proves stats is an overrated word in sport and i'm telling right now he is as important as vvd, allison, salah!
The game that made Curtis believe. World class, vision, pace, touch, game management. He has it all, and we are so so lucky to have him. Seems like a nice dude too
Aye, another fun fact, west ham is in the premier league, were on the Europa League final in 2022 (hi there sporting lisbon) and won the conférence league the year after, were are Derby and Preston? Who won the Papa's John Trophy?
