Doc must make a lot of money .that car gets better & better every time i see it on y tube !!!! I'm surprised he's not #1?????? maybe this year ???? i don't know i don't have cable anymore.??? i guess i will have to. se it on y tube? Good luck brother !!!!!
He's got 500+ cubes and can't catch Chuck and his death trap maybe he can get one of the space shuttle boosters because he should just go to the metal supply and start over that's a chassis that doesn't work hell nhra they front half cars and rear half that so actually it's not even a little bit of the original chassis pipes flexibility change and nobody can win if it doesn't hook up and get down thru there maybe he needs 600+ ci advantage and a few cars to get back on top but it still probably won't work hell in last season he only has a single round win and I think it's only time he had full hit 🤔
Seen an old EL Camino try to line lock it with a big block and as soon as he switched it off the front was over 4 feet in the air! It is just a daily driver, but I am sure it could run with the 405! A friend owned a mostly stock 1981 Chevy Camaro Z-28, it said and would do 160 and then some, was really fast, would stick you in the seat! He sold it to a young guy and told him, it was dangerous and to be careful! The kid tried to outrun Michigan police on Us 31/933 and as soon as he crossed Indiana's border, he hit a metal light pole and it cut the car in half and killed himself, he was going over 130, we had it going 160 at one point, but he wouldn't go over that at the time, I was 8 or 9, the guy sold the car because it was so fast! Also rode in his 1968 Chevelle SS 396, engine was hot dipped and had been built by a professional after he blew it 3 times! We had it going 180 in less than 1/8 mile, but it was mostly stock, except engine and had a Muncie automatic with 150 hp shot of nitrous. He later installed fuel injection and sold it! He was later killed for money by people he thought were friends, they shot him up with heroin and drug him behind his truck and would not let him call emergency number to get shot to stop the overdose, that happened in Roseland, Indiana!
ShitFromShinola This was not a stock car, if you met the guy who owned it, he never had a stock car! The engine was built, it did not have a stock transmission! It had well over 350hp, that I can say for sure! Michigan police cruisers could not catch the teen who bought it, when he hit the steel light pole "2 feet around" he was going in excess of 130mph and it cut the car in half all the way to the trunk, it did have t-tops! The guy who sold it had owned many previous cars a 1967 Z28, the Chevelle, a few corvettes, previous to them and the 1981 he had a 1978 Z28, 1984 Z28, only one was near as fast as the 1981, which scared him so much he sold it! The guy who owned them wasn't supposed to be able to walk after a dirt bike accident as a teen, though he overcame that and became a professional brick mason. You are wrong about the stock HP rating, it was 175! Lets put it this way his Chevelle had a been cammed out so much it would rattle our homes windows just at idle, would pull at least 180+ in 1/8 mile without nitrous! He never left a car stock and the Camaro was not stock at all, I think it may have had a 400, it was repainted flat brown as well! If I could find the accident from the 1990's I would give the link! The Chevelle had sat under a tarp in a guys yard since he bought it new and only put 35k on it, Kelley Green, white stripes with white rag top, Joe the guy I am talking about had done a brick chimney inside and outside his home for the car and title!
LuxorVan Good story.. but you need to do a bit of research on what it takes to do 180 in the 1/8th.. it takes well over 1000hp to do that my friend.... good day..
ShitFromShinola I was in the car when it hit it, you can say whatever you wish, the 396 was not stock either, he put over $10k into building it, several times, that did not include the transmission, he rebuilt it 3 times before the 4th overhaul when his builder told him running 100-110 octane wasn't enough! That is when the block was hot dipped, he had also cracked a cylinder head! Yes the stock ratings would be around 325hp+ for the 396, but again you are talking about a guy who was killed so his friends could steal $50k from a false wall in his brick style Michigan Basement! That Chevelle had over 800hp the first time he had it built! You can form your opinions all you wish about anything, I have seen single exhaust mustangs whip ones with dual exhaust, it was a known fact for the Speed Density verse Mass Airflow engines that lack of proper back pressure would slow an engine! By the time he installed the Edelbrock Fuel Injection system it had well over 1000hp, plus it did have nitrous by then! Before all of that he almost opted to go with a tunnel ram and dual 4 bbls, but wanted to keep the hood all original. Again the guy was a brick mason since the age of 15, he had the money to back his hobby! He always chose Edelbrock over Holly as well! You were off by 25 hp on the 1981 Z28 ratings and if it were a Canadian version converted to US mileage from Kilometers it would have had more than stock US ratings! You weren't there to ride in the cars, you weren't there to witness any of the building of them, therefor your opinion is simply that, just an opinion! He dated my sister, we were best friends! Even the 1984 Iroc Z28 wasn't stock, back in those days, the early to mid 1990's they didn't care about Stroker Engines, Turbos or Fuel Injection, they built them differently, Naturally Aspirated and ran them on 100-110 octane! He didn't modify it to fuel injection until 1996-1997, then sold it!
Street car my ass!!! Come and try to drive that car on the street where i live!! It would get impounded and sold and you would go to jail!!! These guy's are ruining street racing for everyone else that likes to street race. These guy's all of them are a complete JOKE!!! These car's are full blown Drag Race Car's!!
they do not race full street cars. tubbed, glassed, caged, etc. not real street racing, these are the guys that ruined it for a guy like me that had a small block ford in full street trim and beat the chevys. then, i see tubed BBC chevy's on the street with cages and no interior. BS. Street racing is NOT drag cars on the street!!!
That is nothing but a promod on the highway I don't give a shit what they call it. Or back in the 80s and 90s it was a pro stock if I it had steel roof and quarters. Also these guys for the most part can't keep up with promods on the track so they turn to the street where they m8ght have a chance. If you doubt that look what happened when big chief went to Indy and tried to qualify ....didnt turn out to well for the crooked tooth one dead last and laughed right out of the building. It was great seeing that arrogant fuck get his ass handed to him.
Totally agree I built a full steel 76 Camaro w/ ac that was street legal. Ran high 9's at track street racing means avoiding cops and driving your car to and from race spots. No "trailer queens"
