@HighBowPuffin64 Archive why would they hire them? Nintendo is a near entirely Japanese company. Hiring this person would likely cause more headache then anything else. They'd be unable to properly integrate into the culture let alone the work flow most likely. That's not even getting into them needing to be able to work with their dev tools, plus they're just one person with far less value to them vs say, a proper small team. Honestly people like this should probably just stop eating there time making fan games and actually, you know, use there talent for something original.

it's a combination of things, like mario's hands being too big, his arms being at a 65° angle instead of an 85°, then there's the stiff shoulders, heavy sound effect, As well as the curvature on his back being rather still.

The assets don't clash because I made all of them except the characters. All models and textures I purpose built for this project, this includes all animations. While the Mario models are from Odyssey I made 62 animations for in game Mario and sadly this video skipped over the dancing animations for Mario in the menu, the headphones are custom made for him too :D Nintendo did take it down, but this was the whole project, I never intended to go any further at all and mentioned that in my original video. This project was entirely for learning purposes, and I've been making my platformer "Tubby Super Cat" for years before I tried this out, I wanted to simply get better at producing Mario style movement systems. Thanks everyone.

honestly the main issue i have is the name of the collection. 3d ALLSTARS. the snes allstars felt like real generational leaps for already ageing classics. just the addition of a save system could have sold it but they took the time to update it to the times standards. the 3d allstars feel more like a pack of roms with slight improvements.

Even though the DS graphics don’t look amazing at least Nintendo was trying their best in remaking SM64 for DS. Whereas for the switch they just lazily ported content from N64 and upscaled it.

@@lol-ih1tl Seeing you say it's SM64DS has stiff bad controls makes me wonder the last time you actually played sm64ds. Because I did yesterday and I can confirm that it's controls are not stiff and that it is not 8-directional like everyone says it is.

That's my problem with fan games, they just throw a bunch of high res assets into a pre built engine (in alot of cases like the Unreal Zelda remake) but the gameplay you can tell it's way off. If the Mario Remakes are indeed real they would probably don't look like this but they'll sure enough play way better than this.
