adams is the definition of a player who does his job. his stats might seem average but this guy screens runs and hustles harder than any center in the nba right now. theres a reason ja made such a huge step and struggled without adams in the timberwolves series.
My favourite player in the nba, he may not be a superstar or putting up crazy stats but he knows his role on the team and plays it perfectly. He’s a team first player and doesn’t care about his stats as long as they get the W.
Being from New Zealand I strive from steven adams being the only kiwi in the nba, he inspires me to play basketball what a legand and the most underrated player in the league keep doing your thing stevo💪🏼💪🏼🤙🏻
3:56 is the most polite dunk ever. He literally tried to dunk it softly with his right hand into his left hand, that way he could drop the ball gently to the floor, so that the game might continue in an orderly fashion 😂
I feel like if Steven had a personality similar to Boogie Cousins it would be almost impossible to like him. But since he's just a hardworking chill guy you don't have to worry about it. Also, he is so low profile in his life outside the court, like, what can you not like about it? The net he uses to catch lobster?
Adams is one of those players who will have a job on an NBA roster for as long as he can lace up his shoes. If you casually look at his stats, it may not look like he's bringing much to the table besides a rebounding masters class, but his hustle, strength, leadership and basketball IQ cannot be understated and will always contribute positively to any teams record.
Another thing ppl may not notice is how Steven adams is mad strong and could probably easily break the backboard but he uses his strength logically not try to injure anyone
This music is so perfect for Steven Adams. Strongest man in the league, and the best teammate you can ask for! Memphis Grizzlies love Big Kiwi 🥝❤️💙💪🏿🐻〽️
We fans love Adams cuz he could demolish every guy in the league in a fight but he doesn’t act like it at all. Meanwhile you got guys like Grayson Allen and Pat Beverley who are the exact opposite.
It seems to me that the time that Adams saved Mason Plumlee from serious injury is also a major highlight of his career even though there wasn't any scoring happening.
