So I found a pre-order listing on Amazon US. About $30 more than the Amazon Japan listings.

he wont, maybe. he doesnt like the system of bringing his music into streaming platform. that's why he decide being on youtube is a big gift for us, should be grateful.

Ain't happening. The man himself has taken a negative stance towards streaming and even digital downloads of his music. If I recall correctly it wasn't even long ago, maybe 2 years have passed since he officially spoke against having his music digitally available. This could maybe signal a change, but who knows. The fact this collection is only getting released on vinyl and cassette really speaks volumes. Best case scenario these will also be eventually pressed on CD which should be a bit more affordable. It's a shame but I do understand his point of view. You can find plenty of articles about what he had to say. I'm not saying I agree with his bleak outlook but objectively speaking he isn't exactly wrong either. Unless he's had a complete change of mind we won't be seeing any of his music online any time soon other than what he decides to post in dribs and drabs.

@thestinkernet I'm aware of all the "anniversary" editions of his albums and remastered reissues, I even own 2 of them (Melodies & Artisan). I didn't really look into it, maybe you know more than I do, but as I understand it these latest releases feature a different remaster. Probably still using the same masters as source but at least to my ears there is a difference in overall quality. Can't really say if for the better or worse though, just different. I hope he releases a CD boxset with these releases specifically so I can buy them. Personally I have no use for vinyls, I completely understand the allure and everything but I don't have the audio equipment to play or fully appreciate the format.
