We call this the osu effect...If someone is better than you, you either 1) like them as a player 2) Dislike them as a player. Both options causes a chain reaction throughout the community
imagine a 10 minute long video where e just says "is a player and i think that's pretty cool" at the start without any player and the rest of the video is just a black screen with no sound

If you over-simplify, then yeah he’s pretty much just spamming his keyboard and waving his cursor around. What makes him unique is that he’s the only player that could do these top tier passes because of his insane high bpm aim.

I don't fking get any of this. I'm Level 98 in Standard, have seen this game in multiple phases from 2010 to today. And I still don't get how people can pass these maps (even without any mods). The highest I've gotten was #2700.... in Taiko. I've played Banned Forever so often and I've failed so often. I've smashed by head against the desk (metaphorically), and I simply can't pass maps at all that place circles just slightly out of beat. Some maps just seem SO easy, while others seem much harder despite being 2 stars less. I just don't get this game at all, the longer I think about it.
