This video is amazing! The Citypop music from 1993-95 really gives a nostalgic and fresh feeling. The sound and style of Japanese music during this 'bubble' period really brings to life a colorful era of music. Thanks for sharing!
I think your opinion is very interesting and excellent. In my opinion, it would be more appropriate to call the music “city pop” until around 1985 and “bubble pop” from 1986 to 1995.
Thanks for the upload! Glad to see this channel is still active. I love the song choice in these playlists. ♥They're always so refreshing and different from the typical JP city pop songs that everyone else uses.
I love these mixes so much. I especially enjoy the ones from the 90s. I don't know as many of these albums, artists, and songs. I've heard the 80s stuff a million times so it's lovely to find out these more modern takes on City Pop and that classy pop sound with great instrumentals.
I always enjoy these citypop lists especially the less well known artists from the 90s and later. These are beautiful and really relaxing. I am writing this while listening to this playlist and cooking some japanese curry rice with pork loin. It smells really good and i haven't even added the curry mix yet! Thank you wakuda-future for all you do. It is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for another phenomenal playlist 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Can I make a request? I've been listening to other playlist with a singer called Minnie, I love her songs, if you could insert one of her song into your playlist I'd bee grateful. 😎😎
thanks for your comment! Minnie's song is good. I like it too. I'll try to put it on my playlist. Oh, and please subscribe to my main channel. ru-vid.com/show-UCLB2LOUJ-8us5UMnhinfXXw
I'm afraid you won't be able to see that playlist because some of the songs are blocked in some areas. I will create a re-edited version with new songs added. and Please subscribe to my main channel too! ru-vid.com/show-UCLB2LOUJ-8us5UMnhinfXXw
Wake up babe, new wakuda just dropped. I'm still working through the discographies of all the artists in your last three mixes, and now you give me EVEN MORE WORK... >:(
I have placed a file here with details of past playlists for your study! drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vxx1i00GIYPhWaPgIzG2U8vvIlF3-9BF?usp=drive_link
@@wakuda-future7098 And now, having finally curated my playlist down to 269 tracks, I'm finally ready to start going through the rest of this document. Thanks! Looks like there are a few I already have - I knew Trade Love from searching youtube for Let's Kiss The Sun, found a great new album instead. And you had eye's, Seiko Sato, Mariko Takahashi, and Okina Megumi in previous mixes, so I got those too. The others I don't know.
Update: In searching for the others, I found a couple of possible errors in your document. Specifically, I resolved 馬渡松子 - × MAWATARI Shouko -> 〇 MAWATARI Matsuko I also can't find anything for YAMAZAKI Makiko. Would you happen to have the name of the album for her song, Just Like A Movie Star?
I feel that there is a lot of great work between 1988-1993, and from 1994 onwards, there is a lot of work that is less city pop and more light mellow in taste.
