This animatic is fantastic! The best part is how Female Frollo is drawn: she looks like an unassuming young woman, which makes her madness all the more shocking.

I don’t know why but the meaning of the song changed a little when it’s two women. Like she’s still crazy but at the same time she might be burned for the crime of desiring another woman. The chills I got from this version is completely different to what I felt on seeing the OG frollo sing it

When I think about the song outside of the context of the movie I always liked this idea. A girl who was raised in a very toxic religious up bringing then meets a girl and is like “shit I’m gay”

A detail I’ve *always* adored is how 1:31 shows, even as the nun implores the Virgin Mary to protect her from “the siren’s spell,” the spell has already begun to work its magic-even as she wrathfully rails against these feelings, her blush and expression indicate it’s far too late-and perhaps she’s only willing to put up a “front” of denying them. Bonus points for 1:20’s maddening expression, as she tries to rationalize the temptations she has! Kudos for this piece-I only wish it showed the whole song.

Затем та бежала из дома мужа и стала встречаться с бардом грубо говоря и с ним путешествовала. А после в дуэли уб*ла пару людей и за это её хотели посадить, но любовник спас её. А затем она ушла и от барда к красивой девушке. Родителям той девушки не нравилось всё это и они послали её в церковь. А наша бисексуалка не промах. Она пробралась в церковь украла свою девушку и сожгла церковь. Очевидно что её приговорили к казни. Наша лесбиянка вернула девушку родителям и быстро побежала к любовнику и скольким трудом любовник отбил её от рук короля или императора. А затем та вернулась к своему мужу. И говорилось что дальше они жили долго и счастливая и умерли вместе.
