So, I assume this guy is who Charlie would be summoned as normally. A mix between Saber and Ruler like what Extella Link mentioned. On the topic of Extella Link, I like how Traum mentions Charlie only made it because of the Moon Cell battle data, meaning Hakuno and Altera's plan at the end of Link worked
Okay but this is nothing like how they phrased it in Extella Link. Karl and Charlie made it out like the major part would be Karl while there would be a minor part of Charlie in the true form of Servant Charles the Great. This is the complete opposite with it being major Charlie Minor Karl which doesn't make sense as Karl is the Reality while Charlie is the fiction. So why is the fictional part taking presedence over the real part of Charles the Great?

Most people is sad that he isnt Karl, but I find it better, Karl doesnt share the same skills has Charles so he would fit more has his own servant. And about that I wonder, if Karl gets in, his final ascension would use things of Charles or his pride wouldnt let him use it?
@@aliphidayatullahbinmidan2031 multiple versions of multiple characters exist as separate entities, even if Karl isn't revealed in the current line-up his future inclusion is still very much possible
this video is missing one of his buster animation. he has 3 buster animation in this skin. 2 of them are ranged, there is one where he basically ignites the sword with his hand and then does dash+ upward slash. you can trigger it if you do BAQ brave chain. weird i am real torn right now , meltryllis seems really good and fun but i want to save SQ too for charlie cuz his 3rd ascension animations are so cool.

The Aachen cathedral where Karls Throne is located is just an hour from my place. I really need to visit again. Maybe I get better chances in summoning him 🤔

Idk they probably spent a lot of recourses on the np. Probably would have been a waste to make another one on that level. Also he is not karl it seems like

i think the lbs name means 4 underworlds? also considering all the lore we already have about the mesoamerican gods, it wouldn't make sense if this chapter didn't focus on them
His attacks and NP are so cool... Does anyone know which supports work best for him so I can pull for them too? I don't think Oberon would pair well with him, which is sad because I'm planning to pull for him in two years' time too.
Quick support........which is only skadi atm. Sadge ik but alternatives would be Hans as usual or welfare ruler vinci. Other meta support like waver and castoria is okay as well

They do not have a new Quick support as of now, so Skadi is still the best option. Oberon pairs well with him too, due to the fact that Oberon pairs well with _literally everyone_ lol. Charly might not get much use out of Oberon's Buster Up, but Oberon still gives him 70% NP charge and 60% NP dmg up. Charly doesn't have any innate NP dmg buffs, so Oberon rounds him out nicely. Skadi is also of course mandatory if you want to loop with Charlemagne. Oberon again helps out with this, as he can simply be plugsuited in to fill up missing charge and buff his dmg even further.

I'll still be salty as hell about this form until we get proper Karl as a summonable servant. If we get Karl, then this fusion is a really cool addition. If we don't get Karl, this fusion is a ghastly mockery of the true world.
Could someone explain me, Fate normie, why isn't Charlemagne, and Karl der Grosse the same person? I get, that in F/EL they were 2 seperate servants, but how was it explained?
Basically, Charlemagne can appear as two different versions. Saber "Charlemagne" is the mythical aspect of Charlemagne, the adventurous young king from the fictional tales of the Twelve Paladins and the Matter of France. Ruler "Karl der Große" is the historical aspect of Charlemagne, the man who united Europe under his rule and founded one of the greatest Empires in human history. In Extella Link, they explain that, if Charlemagne should ever be summoned under normal situations (since Link was kinda fucked up) then he would be summoned as a mix of the two, with Karl making out almost all of that person, while Charles would influence his character in a minor way at best. This is due to the fact that Charlemagne's historical impact on the world was *far* more important than the mythical stories about him ever were. Summoning Saber Charles is practically impossible, because Ruler Karl's presence overshadows him by such a massive magnitude that Saber Charles might as well not even exist.
