White text Ritsuka: "How could this possibly be happening?! I thought we were friends!" Red text Ritsuka: "I've survived more in these past few years then you could possibly imagine in five lifetimes. Did you really think I wouldn't see this coming?"
Exactly. Ritsuka told Oberon ages ago that he could practically smell the animosity and hatred coming from his pleasant smile. That animosity didn't feel fulfilled when Oberon supposedly sacrificed himself, nor did he feel done when all the calamities were defeated.
This isn't Ritsuka's first rodeo by a long shot. At this point it's probably weird if one of his/her allies *doesn't* turn out to be a villain by the end of a mission.
Well, if Ritsuka doesn't skip EoR, Ritsuka should have learned about betrayal and plot twist Especially the first 2 when 2 old men tricked and betrayed Ritsuka so bad lol.
I like that the red texts are the option to show the mc's intelligence and keen observation. The MC has been through a lot at this point to still be a dumb dumb.
Like, mc did meet friendly servants that turns out to be villain in babylon, shinjuku, agartha, salem, and several event(right now i can only think of halloween with osakabehime, but im sure there are more)....
I see so much praise for the red dialogue options but they're not implemented well at all and I don't understand how anyone would buy Guda's sudden boost in competence. Self insert kun is so braindead it takes him 16 chapters to question Castoria about Merlin despite her mentioning him since the start of LB6. Suspecting Oberon isn't the problem, it's Guda literally figuring out that he's the big bad and that he'll be showing up at the end based on literally no evidence, just some vague hints. Him being all like "now all that's left is..." and "I kNeW iT" makes him look like some cartoon detective who figured out the mystery based on almost nothing. Him not voicing his suspicions with anyone and acting the way he does is just bs. Intelligence and keen observation my ass
@sharkmenro Well, at the very least, he was suspicious. That's still progress. Because he is the "self insert" main character that writers of every other story arcs literally made him less than dumb, to the point that his reactions to most things sounded more like sarcasm. Imagine if the writers had the balls to actually develop him, the boost in competence would have been more believable lol.
@@thanglongnguyenvu3815They could have at least made the red dialogue options look like actual suspicions instead of him literally expecting Oberon to be the big bad that shows up after we kill Cernunnos. It would have explained why he wouldn't voice some simple suspicion and would not have seemed like complete bs. I feel like the "Now all that's left is..." and "I kNEw iT" options are just there to jerk off the player and make them feel galaxy brained because they "solved" a mystery based on zero clues. I'm fine with progress, but I'd rather not have it at all if it's this unbelievably inconsistent
No that’s not her character at all. Instead she’s too innocent for her own good. She’s akin to a child just wanting everything her way and due to her power and shit, ppl rarely goes against her. When some do, she retaliates just like a child not getting her ways would through suggestions and intimidation, only difference is she’s got some nasty gifts from birth that can actually allow a harmless “child” to inflict dmg on others
@@ucmanhvuong4301That's a large part of it but she's turned at least 2 of her attendants into bugs and crushed them just for disagreeing with her. You can only say she's 'childlike' to a certain degree, she's definitely still a PoS with the kinda shit she's done. The stuff with Woodwose and Morgan was also done exclusively by her, her followers and even Oberon had nothing to do with her lies
@@jaskaranbajwa8443 I mean I'm certainly not defending the wretch after the torment she put Meluko through. I'm just saying that fearies' minds are just built different, Aurora especially.
@@elijahmanaghaya6038 Well, yes. Oberon can only lie, so when he says “I have nothing left to say to you” it means there’s a lot more he wants to say, and he gets it off his chest in the dream.
I hate myself I realized I did everything right to have the red text option but during the story I didn't chose some too obvious choices only because I already knew about Oberon being somehow a traitor so I was afraid of being influenced in my choices by that. If only I had stopped overthinking... I could have enjoyed the story more and without worrying about it, but I'm dumb
@@luthfimisbah5103 Less that it influences the story and more that it changes the context from Guda getting blindsided by the truth to Guda realizing the truth much earilier.
"What about your own star, Titania?" translates into "So all of these are for your damn nonexisted waifu huh, Oberon?" Ritsuka can see all through the lies of the Great Liar and i think that's so badass.
No, it translates to "That's not true. You actually care about the Pilgrimage and Altria's mission, because that journey is the journey to find Titania you've always wanted to have." Basically Oberon said "Haha fuck you I'm pure evil" and Ritsuka said "No you're not lol" so that's why Oberon said again "Fuck you for being right."
Oberon, very explicitly, is Oberon The Liar. Every single thing he says when not out as Vortigern - and even a lot of that - is lies. At all times. No matter what he says, it always means the opposite. That’s just the nature of his existence, and why he is a Pretender.
@@RedOfFlamesIt doesn't have to be the opposite tho, just not what he said. I remember reading this somewhere regarding Oberon lying nature: "I love becomes i hate you, i hate you becomes i don't even think about you".
@@airesedicoes2267In this case the opposite would be the truth based on the simple fact that Oberon was literally waiting for Chaldea to do all the work for him.
The red text is perfect. Guda dindt really solve any mystery, he just could feel Oberon was lying and actually unhappy because they really became friends during the story
Same. I actually hope that there's at option where Ritsuka gave up on saving the humanity. Then he becomes the villain if they are planning to give us another MC.
Probably stipid imagination of mine but After going through all the lostbelt and we probably finish all the ordeal Ever wonder what could happen if Us/Ritsuka/Gudao/Gudako able to regress back to very beginning either during our first meeting with Mash,Lev, Olga and Romani or during the first singularity F With the memory and knowledge from future that about to happen Will we stay the same way as it's already fated from beginning by letting Olga be sacrificed to holy grail or will we be able to defy it and change the whole Fate itself save Olga and beat Lev from beginning And when given a choice White text is the same choice we did first while red text is change the future
NGL, this was scary af, I thought we gonna stab Mash from behind or something, or it could be foreshadowing that Ritsuka gonna be evil someday.. I gave a sigh of relieve when those dialogue lead is about Oberon true identity
Finally a relatable anime character-toxic,hates everyone, uses everyone for his own goals and normal realistic body man i waited 2 years for him and managed to get 2 copies of him and now hes my main along with Douman life is good
The red text only appears if earlier in the story you choose options where you suspect Oberon isn't being level with you and the other members of the party, like pressing him about how he actually got the Royal army sent to reinforce the siege at Londinium to just disappear
I must've missed one more flag to get the red text because I did call out why Oberon was missing during the Londinium siege, and got him to say how he hated me for destroying the Lostbelts one by one. Then again whenever there was a choice to speak I would always pick "(My own thoughts on the matter)" because I was so afraid of talking carelessly whenever fairies are involved.
Nothing changes, the red text is the main character's true feelings and thoughts. Ritsuka told Oberon half way through the story that despite the act, he could sense the animosity coming from his smile. And when Alter Ego Muramasa asked Ritsuka about Limbo in private, Ritsuka dropped his mask entirely, and he scared Muramasa big time. For Mash's sake, he tries to pretend he's unchanged since the beginning. In reality he's been doing his best to balance hope and pure despair in his heart.
