The Dawn Trailer, released 04 August 2015, is a trailer released at GamesCom 2015 ( • 【Final Fantasy XV】 Daw... ). A second, updated version of the trailer-labeled Dawn 2.0-was released on 17 September 2015 at the Tokyo Game Show.
In the Dawn 2.0 Trailer, Noctis and Lunafreya reflect on the tragic events of their respective pasts, also fifteen years prior to the main game. It represents their internal strife: Lunafreya struggling against the Empire's hold over her, and Noctis preparing himself for the journey ahead.
