I heard part of the reason for the nerf was because some guy in the Chinese Servers was playing priestess and the hunter left their teammates to bleed out and he was so angry he kited that guy for hours on end.

What makes this nerf unnecessary is that after the portals limit has reached....what could she do afterwards? Like seriously, she already has bad vaulting speed which kiting is out of the box...and she has a decreased decoding speed in which is also kinda out of the box. Shes like fish on land and would have to depend on her teammates to decode and shiz. She’s honestly unbalanced. They could’ve just bump down her speed to gain portals but making this nerf to her is just out of nowhere. Not to mention, ive had many games with priestesses and never did i see how she could be op to deserve this nerf. They were all decent...and really, had an even win/lose rate with her. So why nerf her? Its just really confusing to do such a dick move lol (lol they even buffed hellember....amazing). And its just bc a clown could’ve just went to another person or just surrender, but goddamn arent they stubborn? (Edit: RIP Old priestess, and thx for the heart racer....racer....thats a new nickname for you)

The Maximum priestess portal isn’t really a bad nerf it’s only a bad nerf if you have 8 or 2 or higher than one but if you have 1 priestess it’s gonna take 10 mins

Priestess is still good to this day even if hunters can go to her portals now the trick is just to make a portal and when the hunter is about to enter the portal go back again and the hunter will be on the other side while you'll have time to go to another loop

I dont know your build but if you made only healing build for each priestess you will be just Undying. But it doesn't matter how fast you heal if hunter will keep fallen down survivors they can just die from the bleed but it will very long match.
