A few more tips (I know this vid was a year ago but just in case someone sees): Most Perfumers know how to counter the one-hit mirror trick. You can attempt to do it if you think the perfumer is not experienced or if you dont have enough time to put them on a chair. Otherwise, always prioritize on putting Perfumer mirror first on chair. Survs that become most useless when their mirror is on chair: - Perfumer - Mercenary - Priestess - Coordinator Basically every rescuer or kiter survs. Mechanic can still be useful even when incapacitated. Always try your best to eliminate the following survs as early as possible: - Doctor - Perfumer - Prisoner - Seer - Mechanic Even when the camera is active, you can still be cipher rushed. In mid chase when the camera is going to be reactivated, mark the direction of where the surv is going and activate the camera when you have chance. This is just to slow down the decoding, continue pursuing the surv after activating the camera. Don't try to chair their mirror if it's injured, just chase the surv after activating. Don't waste your time on Mercenary. You can hit them one time and leave them. This will make their attempt to rescue even harder. Don't do this when there is a Doctor in the surv team. Survs usually hide in the corners of walls, buildings, maps and pallets whenever they see a camera.
@@wizard1189 Actions done in the photo world will take effect on the real world once the photo world ends.. Ex: If you destroyed a pallet in the photo world, in the real world that pallet will be placed down. When the Photoworld is activated, it will generate mirror-images of the real survivors at the place where they were last standing. These mirror-images can't do anything and they will just stand. Interaction between the mirror-images can have varying effects. Survs can either be in: - Full Health - Injured (You hit them once) - Incapacitated (You've hit them while they're injured. Now they're on the ground and crawling) - Chaired (They're in the rocket chair) Every hunter deals 1.0 damage when hitting survs with their basic attacks. However, Joseph deals 1.5 damage. When you injure the mirror-image of a surv, the real surv will receive 0.5 damage when the photo world ends. Now if you hit that surv with 0.5 damage as Joseph, then it will count as 2.0 and the Surv will instantly get incapacitated. If you incapacitate a mirror-image, then the real survivor will just get injured when the photo world ends. If you chaired the mirror-image of a survivor, then the real survivor will get incapacitated and fall to the ground.
@@wizard1189 With this in mind, Survs would often try to hide and crouch once they spot the camera. This is in order to hide their mirror-images from Joseph. If they see their mirror-images get injured or chaired by Joseph, then they will try to hide somewhere or go to the farthest corners of the map if they have the time. Joseph players in experienced ranks will have to be more thorough in searching the map. Memorizing the map and spawnpoints is almost a must for us.
@@wizard1189 No probs! I forgot to mention- Survs can't get rid of that 0.5 damage. They can't heal it. It only disappears when they get incapacitated. Doctor, however, is an exception and can heal it and others that have 0.5 damage. That's why Doctor and Joseph counters each other. It would be wise to get rid of her together with the decoders first when you're playing Joseph. Barmaid can also heal it but she has a limited amount of times of being able to do it.
If you want a good build for Photographer build go to berserk and build up to 2 points into breaking pallets and down to detention (your one shot ability)with tinnitus . If you want any future tips recommend me a hunter or survivor you’d like to know better ^_^
@@alexiova9966 Sorry I wasn't very specific with that part. I use it for the 15% balloon movement speed (which is really helpful) and wanted order to locate a survivor sometimes so I know where their "fake" is. Also, sometimes it locates the coordinator like in the video and you can get another easy kill if she doesn't shoot you.
Saerone Because Joseph (the Photographer) hits for 1.5 attack damage, and the only character that can heal that extra .5 is the doctor. So any other character can only heal up others to that .5 and since the hunter hits for 1.5 damage, the survivors end up being a one shot
Another tip, Joseph has no attack Recovery when falling! So if you're chasing someone into the basement and falling, dont be afraid to swing and take a shot at hitting them

Im a top player as the photographer so i can say my strategy is different from u , I open the photoworld not at the beginning i wait for 10 secs so they touch the machines .. if they don't have a doctor then i hit them only once in photoworld .. i try to open the jumpscare as soon as possible so i switch the worlds near the machines and a tirror shock wil given
This is really helpful! I’m learning photographer as my first hunter and I’ve been practicing for quite a bit but what would a good persona build for him look like? I’m only on level 93 so I’m still building up points but right now I’m using detention and trying to build over to the secondary skill change for good measure.
He's free rn and even though I suck at the game, I won all the matches I played using Joseph today😔👌Glad the survivors I went up against were also beginners, otherwise, I'll be bamboozled😂
Do you know about the time jump trick with teleport? If you time it right, you can go back and forth between two places multiple times. I love teleport for the map presence (and the aforementioned trick means I. can guard a chair and pressure an objective at once), but god blink seems so good in cutting chases short. I think I’m gonna start practicing it in customs.
I think taking a picture after putting a survivor in the chair because beyond it possibly being saved it will have to be saved in the past as well not to fall, and this requires a certain amount of time hindering the decoding of them and only makes them lose more time
I subbed and I liked I just wished u could do some survivior updates like when the prophet comes out and hell embers buff when it comes out keep this in mind I'd love to see it when it comes out
Those tips are useful to people who have better frames and pings not like me pings dose not go low then 250 and some time it gose to 400 then 600 the 900 and frames at low frames I play like grandma exactly same like watching video with graphic 144s
I think it would be better if you only smack the second person in the mirror once because if if they are healed, there would still be 0.5 that they cannot heal
can u pls give tips on his second ability. i always do it wrong and end up on a random spot that i dont want to be. also you play with aim assist or not? you recommend aim assist on joseph? PLEASE ANSWER ME!!!
Hi hi! It might not be relevant anymore, but I'm Joseph main too, so I might be able to help! :) I turned off aim assist, I do think it matters, and for me, it helped a lot! About his 2nd skill, I made a whole video about it recently if you're interested, but basically knowing when to time it is really just practise. If I use it while kiting, I usually just tap it, or hold it for 1-2secs. But if I wanna go back to somewhere, I hold it down until the animation is over, and he holds the card in his hand. :) I hope I could help if it was still relevant! ♡
I played Joseph now,it's free to play, because of I always watching gameplays of him,I totally like a pro at my first game,Like I know the sound the timing and Suprise attack,Sorry I'm just to happy!!! Hahahaha! Play it too,It's free to play but,sadly it's not available at 8vs2 :(((
Sometimes I like to hit them once in the photo world at the start of the game so they r all one shots and no ciphers are done. I'm thinking that if I find 2 or more in a row, should I put one of them on the chair?
Joseph slows the game down and his 1.5 damage makes chases really easy. Though rippers foggy blade is so good too. They’re definitely Both A tier for me atleast.

Then you speed up the video Jesephs voice looks like simular as violetta. And and I dont know why devs make joseph this noices. I am not a perv, but it looks like he is tired on moving and have asthma or when he hunting survivors he is think about " perv things that everyone is do when nobody see."
