this is so GOOD! i love the hints to Volo's backstory which i am so here for, and the signs that hes losing his mind but the MC is trying to save him. aaaa i love it
I love your artstyle (and I love how you draw Volo and Sho) Edit: Your way of drawing "young" Volo is favorite (sorry english is not my first lenguaje)
Might be searching for meaning where meaning doesn't exist, but my dad was very upset about Volo's betrayal and we were discussing that we might have a Frodo at Mount Doom situation, where Giratina was influencing Volo through the spooky plate and that's why Volo's behavior became erratic, finally leading to his manic face-heel turn. His meltdown after the boss fight at the peak is him coming down from that influence, and him confessing to what he did in Jubilife is him sobered up from Gratina's influence. Meanwhile, we beat the shit our of Giratina and make it question its life choices for a moment in a cave.
People say the lore of it is trash and I say otherwise, it might even have the best lore in the pokemon series. Of course the graphics are meh, but who cares. They did their best yknow? But what do I know? I'm just a simp for Volo so, [EDIT: I'M NOT A SIMP ANYMORE]
Hey I say it's good... But I'm still sticking with the fact that volo is CREEPY!!!!!!! Well he's weird... But he can be nice if he wants to... Though in the game he stalks your character....😁😁😁😁 But does anyone have a translation for these videos???😕😕😕😕😕 I'M DYING TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!!!!!🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺☹🥺😞😞😞😞😞
I mean, when talking about why he wants a new world. He says something along the lines of him having faced hardships and unfairness, it seems almost cannon to me
@@whatdoyoucallanalligatorin9174 and his attempt to destroy the world reads a lot more like a child throwing a temper tantrum to get their parents attention in my opinion. + with the cutscene a little before his battle where he says that he knows very little about his past, he’s probably not genuinely _evil_ (like ghetsis) but is definitely screwed up in the head from some kind of trauma probably Sorry, I think I wrote this poorly, I hope you were able to understand it
I'm led to believe Volo suffered through immense religious trauma (to put it as non-graphically as possible.) That caused him resent Arceus and wish to replace it, as he saw himself as a better, perhaps kinder god. His goal in life was to overthrow Arceus and make a world where he had the control to erase the cause of his own suffering. He thought he was doing the noble thing by destroying the cruel and unfair world around him, and make a better one. Could be wrong of course but that sounded the best in my mind
