Thank you so much for posting this. I was there that night and they were so good. It was unfortunately my first time ever seeing them live and regret so much not seeing them before. Fortunately, I went on to see them four more times after this because they were that good.
Isn't this from just after they all got back together and Mick wasn't doing so hot? Sounds pretty good to me. I don't mind a live performance with some mistakes and rawness to it...that's what makes it unique. More importantly...this is from 2004 already? wtf!
it does sound a bit off but sounds good i don't think it's the timing though i think it's when the guitar changes from heavy to clean and it also sounds confined because of the way it was miked maybe ? but don't think the timing was off
For everyone saying it didn't sound good and Mick is out of tune. You need to realize they are in Jimmy Kimmels studio with limited gear, not in an arena with a full set up.
There is alot of talk that Mick Mars didnt even play on the red white and crew album that it was DJAshba .But it is definitely Mick Mars .Because DJASHBA guitar playing sucks DJ Ashba cant play guitar have you heard him DJ Ashba play guitar with gunsnroses he sounds horrible
