I mean... I primarily use DB and a few other weapons. Most people spam the attacks on DB and get caught unable to dodge out of animations. If you know to slow down maximizing dps is easy, and as far as dodging through attacks, it isn’t as hard as it looks when you slap on the evasion mantle, you just have to know WHERE to dodge through the attack because when the invulnerability frames end, if you are still in part of the attack you will still take it to the face. Ex: you can easily dodge through the log in a banbaro’s charge attack, but if you dodge through the horns and into the body of the monster you are going to get kneecapped in the face

Paul Hampton be forewarned, if you are a comp player and have been avoiding spoilers of new content, I am about to mention stuff xD read on at your own risk! They were the Safii’jiva aqua claws. They come with base stats and you can boost different statistics on them (sharpness, affinity, attack, defense, even monster set bonuses, etc) in this case they boosted elemental damage (which is the best way to optimize your dps imo with DB’s). When min/maxed like this you can make some powerful weapons. They come from the newest raid released.

うぽつです私ならつい、クラッチ怯みの前にしてたダウンで二回転クラッチしてしまいますな……クラッチ怯みの出るタイミングというか仕様というか、そこへの強い理解を感じる立ち回りでした。凄いっす挑戦者5……これ前提にしたらもっと見切りのランクも下げれるかな……ちょっと構成の幅を広げられそうです

双龍さん、うぽありです😊 鋭いw 動画内のやり方でやればダウン→ダウン→クラッチ怯み→ダウンって言う流れが出来たので、2回目のダウンした後はクラッチ怯みが来るとわかっていたので上手く反応出来ました！😁

Daniel Dean safi jiva armour!! It heals with damage when you hit a lot of attacks but lose health if you don’t hit a lot. That’s why his hp goes ~~~~~~~~~

@@MultiUnknowen all except the dragon dualblades which deal 720 dragon. But Idk the maths as to which does more with slotsxsharpnessxcritxraw to find out which is better. (But saffi's set bonus overides that completely)

I enjoy tossing a silver rath on the dB and rocking enough silver wrath armor to get true ele crit boost. I have seen to many people killed by their own hubris in the Safii armor

Exotice in some ways yes, but Safii min maxes better for higher damage I believe :) you can get fun defensive skills if you are just a mediocre hunter like me in the silver rath armor ;P (Also hilarious side mention: I have almost killed myself doing the attack that rolls you down a monsters back in Safii armor. The health loss is panic inducing 😂🤣😂)

Are you on PC? If so that's why. It wounds first try on console but not PC afaik.

If on ps4, the basic combo is r2-o-o-o-l2-quickly triangle(if stand longer before pressing triangle, it will change into normal weapon attack

No, actually safi boost each of your following status: damage, element, affinity, significantly! In exchange for HP LOSS, but if you wanna stay with true critical element then thats completely fine because thats the safe meta way besides safi armor skill require insane skill or its a suicide losing HP against Tempered MR monsters lol maybe you could try it in high rank for fun

hello masa, I see you like to use this move a lot (0:35, circle - circle I believe?) followed by clutch claw, is it any good? I feel like this combo is kinda slow. Or it's just your preference 😊?

It's the Dual Blades' rising slash combo that can go directly into a Clutch Claw latch. After the December update, this combo's Clutch Claw Weapon Attack now Tenderizes whatever part it's used to latch onto, meaning you don't have to worry about using 3 Claw Attacks or 2 Weapon Attacks to soften up a body part.
