"It's a cold night in Manehatten. Neko sits on the roof of the old apartment complex she lives in with Cecil. She likes to be here alone and make out any feint glimpse of stars. They were a lot easier to see back home.
It's not home anymore. It's a sour memory. The things she did. The person she was. The monster she is. She sits in this thought, letting herself drown in spilled shadow.
Then, she thinks of the ponies here. She hopes Peachy and Xavier are still coming over tonight, even after the scene she caused earlier. Maybe, she could apologize this time?
