"I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!"
Zero knows he'll die. Zero knows he won't come back to see Ciel again, but none of that matters now. He still has a mission he needs to accomplish. He'll complete it, no matter the cost. Because of a promise to a friend, he will not waver, he will not hesitate. To protect his friends, to protect what's important to him, he will fight till the bitter end. The final mission of the last maverick hunter.
This moment is great for Zero, but I also want to highlight just how... awesome Weil is as a villain. No redeemable qualities, no chance for a turnaround, nothing. Just a raw embodiment of hatred that's caused so much death and despair. It's because of how Weil's written that this moment has such a powerful impact imo.
Megaman Zero is a game that will forever leave a mark for me. The story and the fact that Zero didn't get the writer's plot armour at the end of it is what made such a strong impact. I rarely ever played any games with such conclusion.
Steven Nic oh yeah hero’s , legends , underdogs are who leave a mark and are forever my favorites they have so much impact on the story then most realize whether it be the story or a characters life haha just to name some others that I think are up there (Nash from sfv he was basically guile’s mentor. Zack from final fantasy 7 he entrusted cloud with the buster sword and “hope” . and this one is a bit hidden but vox from grand summoners not to much story as the other two but overall slight same concept as zacks except berwick (known as sword berwick now ) wields voxs sword and leads the knight of blood . He barely used the thing but picked up voxs sword skill the more he uses it (as if vox himself is with him at all times teaching him the way of the sword). All and all sad to see the awesome ones go 😢 but that’s how story’s are supposed to progress/end . Zero giving it his all really got me. the final Maverick hunter now passed leaves a note that being the official end to a long gone era and the upbringing of a new one *cue zx* (also sorry for the randomness I just agree with your comment 😂)
I mean, in a sense, he kind of did get writer plot... bullet(?), since Aizu and them intentionally killed him so Capcom wouldn't ask them to make a Zero5.
We love you Zero. You sacrificed yourself for your people, for what you believe was your concept of justice. Knowing you weren't able to went back to the resistance base you didn't hesitate. Stopping Dr.Weil's shenanigans was your main goal and liberate your people from despair. You were a hero for them, you were the only Zero on their eyes. We'll never forget you, you stubborn Reploid.
Me: Great Sacrifice? You Just Did That Like... um... 100 YEARS AGO! Zero: Bruh. Me: Zero? Are You Still There? Zero?? 0? Zero: imma goin to dye. Me: ZEROOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ciel: THAT'S MY LINE YOU GIANT FAT LIZARD! Me: WHO CARES!?!?!? Ciel: Also, what did Zero say? Me: He Says: imma goin to dye. Ciel: ZEROOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me: Bruh.
I never cared about justice and I don’t recall ever calling myself a hero...I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won’t hesitate. If an enemy appears in front of me, I’LL DESTROY IT!!!
@@regulus7181Wilys pretty interesting. He was supposed to be the main villain of the X series at some point but they scrapped it because they didn’t like the idea of taking a character from the light hearted classic series and putting him in the gritty, dark X series. But there’s still little insinuations that Wily might be involved in the x series, so I would say the comparison to Weil is not too far off. He created the virus after all. But I agree it’s funny how Zero was basically created to be the devil robot and ends up being one of the most heroic characters in their universe. In the end Wily created the strongest robot, I’m sure he would be laughing from the grave because of his pride lmao
Imagine if instead of fighting Weil, the final battle of Megaman Zero 4 was a "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" style event where you had to cut Ragnarok into progressively smaller chunks and then into pieces, using a powered-up saber, so that it will burn up harmlessly in the atmosphere. It would all be in 1st-person, from Zero's point of view. After you cut up the final chunk, during the final leg of the song, Zero starts to burn up in the atmosphere and you get to watch as his vision goes dark, with the mission ending in success just as the song ends.
Did I never leave a comment on this?? I fully believe this theme is infinitely more epic than Cannon Ball (and Cannon Ball is still epic, believe me), and hearing that good ol' Koki touch launches this tune into the stratosphere (pun intended!). I don't think I'll ever get tired of this. 🤘
What a conclusion to a multi century old rivalry. The irony and the beauty behind wilys creation zero, being the one to defeat what is literally meant to be the incarnation of Dr wily (weil) in a climatic ending that ends the battle between Dr Light and wily.
Dude can you please reupload Megaman battle network 4 boss theme, I mean that one that you added to your medley video. It's different and it had a stronger base than your originally uploaded mbn4 boss theme. Thank you
