Wow! Live on Soul Train! Live music on that show was RARE. Ernie there was a tad low on the mix darn it! But he's doing some some Hendrixian tribute there, wonderful stuff! Funk and Jimi, a fusion made in Funk Rock heaven.

You and I are in the know but a lot of our white brethren (and you'd be surprised at how many brotha's particularly the younger brotha's who ain't knowin)don't know E-Isley! I mean know disrespect but most white cats if you asked them if they ever heard of him would reply with"who?" And in music circles whether it's in t.v programs or magazine articles about the great guitarist, the name Ernie Isley is never mentioned. That's all I meant dawg!
