happy 10th anniversary disgaea d2!!! :3 remember getting so excited for it as laharl, etna especially & flonne are still my favorite trio in the series.
They're not entirely Sony exclusive. Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love was a Wii only title, and both Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure and Disgaea DS were DS titles.
He revives her in the normal ending, in the good ending you find out the seraph never actually killed her and she was temporaly turned into a flower as she was stripped of her angel rank.
Whaaaaa?? So it's NOT supposed to be cut off? The OP for my game cuts off at the very end before it reaches Laharl, and it just felt so off. When I watched a RU-vid video uploaded by someone else, it was also cut off... But why is it then??
true but we are not talking about games in general, its for rpg such as this, not the type like diablo and skyrim. mostly rpg based games utilize controllers instead of keyboard.
are people going to over look the fact that flonne is a mahou shoujo now, i just hope she didnt make a contract with a certain entropy freak, also laharl is now a pimp.
Id' be awesome if NIS release a collection of the Makai series in a single BR Disc with all the dlc included, making it a complete experience before the console stop its production...
I'd like to point out that the time the keyboard and mouse have stood as gaming peripherals is longer if not just as long as any controller. Controllers have generally gone under HUGE changes from the old atari stick to our current 360 controllers but the keyboard and mouse have generally not needed to change very much.
Keyboards and mice are designed for immensely more complicated processes than game controllers. So yes, it makes sense that they don't need to change as gaming technology advances.
Most of those PC are used for college, work and using the web, a very little percent use them to play games, in top of that even a less percent of users has gaming rig ... And indeed not all of us pirate their stuff but sadly many people pirate their games that's a fact ... I think Ubisoft registered 90%+ of piracy rate on some of their stuff last year; DRM is a pain but not an excuse to pirate
well there is a problem for guys like me who can't afford a PS 3 i'm still playing Disgaea 2 at the moment, couldn't play anything past 3 :( and i'm a really unhappy camper
actually it takes place 5 or 7 years after disgaea 1 meaning 2-4 have happened its just a direct sequel to the first game. Check siliconera for more info >.>
PS3 and X360 games are also pirated like crazy these days anyway. To be honest, I think there are just too many good games developed solely for consoles yet PC gamers get almost nothing. Some titles have console port for the first version, but their sequels don't, so can't help if people want to complain. That being said, I'm a PC gamer, too, so my point of view is kinda different.
I'm kind of worried about "Laharl-chan" and the revised male priests, but if male angels are an available character, I may overlook it, and I like how they present the main characters. Also, Flonne's magical girl thing works out because she flips out at that sort of thing.
yeah she prob can do that seeing how she was an arch angel before, my theory is that she does this so she can be with laharl and etna, while still being able to visit her home, by just changing her form and stuffs lol
Probably since their isn't any (or many?) eastern computer companies, its probably Sony exclusive by now, unless your counting the port Disgaea DS, but meh.
thats never stopped the Dark Hero b4......also they're also in the same timeline too soo..yeah..its wierd that they dis not put him there..and disappointing
While the animations would say that, wouldn't an ascension back to Angel (maybe trainee) from her Fallen Angel form be slightly different in classification? I'm not fully sure but it makes more sense to me, unless there was a statement otherwise. We do know from other games she does end up as an angel again and can switch between forms. This could give some explanation of that (All theory since I cannot confirm or deny... anyone with proof feel free to say it).
This is not a case of devs not giving a shit, but rather the devs being so niche that they stick to one platform, which reduces costs since they don't have to port it, and Sony probably rewards them pretty handsomely for staying exclusive, too. Before you get started: I love PC and I buy everything I can on the PC, only use consoles for exclusives. But aside from a broader fanbase, NIS has little to gain from porting Disgaea to PC.
err i beg to differ. controller is the way to go, i mean, it withstood the test of time from Atari to mega drives to PS1 to sega saturns to ps 2 to x box and now to ps3 and x box 360 and will continue to carry on to ps4.
