Absolutely beautiful this new E8 series!!!!! I have read articles about this new train and it is said that it is capable of going up to 360KPH in operational tests, is this true? In addition, it has many components from its older brother, the E6 in key points such as the bogies, the operator's cabin and other systems........ If so, the Test Run of this train has already begun to certify its operability, let's hope you can capture these tests on video, excellent video and greetings from Venezuela
I love that the E8 Series will start testing soon. But I'm not sure how I feel about its design. I do know if it's the paint scheme or the all-around design. It might grow on me.
Sorry, don't think it looks very attractive - looks its made out of parts of other Shinkansen! I think that the livery doesn't help - the large amount of purple at the front gives it a very heavy appearance. They should paint it in the historic green and white livery like they did for that E2 unit last year - that looked superb!!!!
I believe the old window is quite heavy and this is more efficient (weight reduction) but yes Europe shinkansen does not occur with small windows like this so I wonder to what extent it is efficient
