不見得黯然蹣跚，卻探尋著暗夜中的希冀光束。
拾荒者，可以理解為在一個被遺忘的宇宙角落裏孤獨漂泊、尋找遺失希望、探尋殘存價值的人。當理想被現實放逐、人性被意志擊潰，拾荒者穿行在末日之下的世界，异星原始物種映入眼簾。打破常規邏輯和法則，于生機與毀滅的邊緣挖掘新的生機，以天馬行空的想像構建關于人與自然的新家園。
作為張哲瀚第三張個人專輯，《拾荒者》似乎沒有那麼“明亮”。在整張專輯的視覺呈現上，深沉色調和陰暗光影爲主的基調呈現出一種神秘又令人沉思的氛圍。荒凉與遺失、古堡與廢墟、破舊與狂亂、古典與現代的元素像無人角落塵封了許久的廢舊故事，等待來自深處的凝視、探索與重新開啓。
在他的音樂之路上，如果說第一張專輯《深藍者》像獨自潛入靜謐深海的低語；第二張專輯《曼陀羅》是蓬勃生長在荒漠，不被澆熄的火種；那《拾荒者》更像以荒蠻又優雅的視角洞察世界，再用雙重疊加的靈魂獨白詮釋人性之複雜多變。

何為時光掠過之音？時針每分每秒的嘀嗒、樹脂凝結成琥珀的滴落、時光在光暈中蒸餾出的不凡，暫態的光景與溫度組成每個人獨特的恒有韵律。

《90s》作為一首充滿復古魅力的電子舞曲，仿佛搭載乘客穿越夢幻隧道，俯見屬于你我的自由爛漫的年代。成長向來是單行道，然而歌唱成長却可以幸運地多獲得一次機會。第一次錄製後，歌手幷不算滿意，“本以爲是首歡快的歌，對技巧要求可能沒那麽高”，聽到成品才發現，演唱幷非復述旋律，如何感知歌曲的力量再把作品碾碎，幷凝注自己的想像與體驗，最終在字句間輸入自己的理解和表達。

被問及如何看待過去的歲月，歌手表示：“過去很珍貴，但向前走才有新的故事。前進的路上，不犯同樣的錯誤，就是一件好的事情。”過去歲月雖不可逆，卻在每一個平緩悠長的朝暮間流經血脈，塑起骨骼，成為如今自我的根基。河道常在，而關于時間的樣式寫在了每一條嶄新的河流。
