Fans of Tokido. i think.. BTW if this is Tokido posting these video's Hi there Tokido, thank you very much, your skills are inspirational, best Gouki player imo.
I still think this match favors akuma and its an up hill fight for ryu. Daigo can win through pure skill sometimes, but against someone like tokido its mighty hard.
Wow!! I think every body like this tokido right now, this was a really enjoyable to watch this is the real murderer face. Now im waiting daigo comeback after this defeat yay!!
It seems the dark hadou is transcending the game and taking hold of the players now! 8U Nah, but seriously a LOT of Japanese players rarely have anything other then their 'game face' on when they play.
I think daigo was very unfortunate - In the newer versions of street fighter they added a lot of more powerful caracters such as akuma, evil ryu oni etc..Ryu simply isn't enough to keep up the track. And daigo hasn't spent the same amount of time with evil ryu than other players so he doesn't have the advantage
AoiWalkthroughsBR how is he right? your just paying to record your record bc obviously its an arcade, the game mechanics are not different for recording PP and BP you stupid fucking clowns.
I've got mad respect for Diago but it looks like he just can't win the big ones these days. He'll always be a legend though. Cemented that title years ago.
yeah I didn't say he can't win ANY of them anymore but more often he either ends up in the losers bracket and gets eliminated there or will make it to a final and lose. though its becoming clear in his matches, when you watch them you can see he's not as quick and sharp as he used to be. not his fault. just age catching up with him.
I think he's better than ever. The level of competition has just risen tremendously in recent years, making it harder for anybody to be a consistent tournament winner.
that is true, but I still can't help but notice him making mistakes (and mind you they are very few and far between) that I didn't see him make in older vids of his beasting.
The translation for both players during the early interview goes something like this: "I'm going to kick the other guy's ass and let's get this show on the road."
This is my question. Is Tokido rising over the other gods? Is he the man who should win the EVO this year? I don't know but Tokido is the best player for me. :3
Highly dependant. There's still Sako, Bonchan and even Mago to contend with (although the latter's known to choke in high level competitions). Tokido stands out cause he's more high profiled out of the other Japanese players. Consistent yes, getting better, yes, but the best? No.
Lawrence Choong Sako is other god but, on EVO Tokido and Daigo always rise from this group, so i think that this year he could win the EVO Bonchan is a very logical player (like all sagats) but Tokido is playing very well against sagat´s players like Ryan and Mago isn´t too consistent like this 2 guys personally i like more Fuudo than Mago, however i wanna see Mago´s Oni this year. I think that Tokido should win this year. He plays more effective this year.
Tokido is pretty much a god in my opinion or a pseudo god if that category is available. Him being the only Asian player who is strong in multiple fighting games not one series. He may not be the beat at a particular game but you have to admit if you were to play Tokido wether it's sf marvel or kof you have something to worry about.
***** Daigo is prety much consistent in mainly the sf series in the other series he was bested by several others like in dark stalkers sako is better along with many others, dont get me wrong he made a name for himself in that game but it wasn't HIS game same with cvs2, mvc3 and guilty gear. Now go back under the rock you came from and don't bother reply. I rather ignore people like you, who reply in a obnxious manner and don't know much about a subject but yet what to act like they do.
Tokido's Akuma playstyle is more aggressive and he uses his mixup (I DONT BELIEVE ITS A VORTEX) to his advantage. Infiltration's Akuma does the same. He uses the mixup but rather plays it safe. Maybe he thinks he shouldn't play his cards until he really needs to?
Infiltrarion already beat Tokido. Now Infiltration wants to play Daigo and 'if' Daigo's still the same, then...we should start buying a Weelchair. xDD~
great match. daigo wins most games with ryu from his insane skill factor. tokido has an advantage with gouki even though his damage blows as he has more tools imo. ultra 2 may be the worst disney looking ultra in the game but damn that combo into it is one move not to mess with lol
Their fingers move like they have programs/macros set to execute combination of commands When I play fighting games, I have a hard time translating moves into button input when doing combos. I keep pressing the wrong buttons in the middle of the combo. I do the same when typing though. But I know instantly and press the backspace and type back the correct letter. lol
I think that's normal for everyone and that's why we practice. We wouldn't want to think about what button to press in the middle of a match. I'm sure that any fighting gamer would agree that when we want to do a move, we just visualize it and our hands move on their own.
Practice, practice and practice. It ends up becoming nothing more than muscle memory. I had the same experience with guitar, I had no idea how the hell I would remember so many songs and play without looking at the fretboard, but I practiced like crazy and now it's all muscle memory.
Look at Daigo's face all ways Natural never stressed.one the other hand Tokido looks so stressed just like f**k face Akuma.seems like Daigo doesn't give a damm about the winning.
Gah. So many players are taking it to the next level, I really don't know who I want to take EVO. Sako, Tokido, Haitani and PR Balrog are my favourites right now. But Daigo seems to want to take it this year. >_
fozymilograno I'm curious, why do you say that? What difference does having a DP/FB make? And anyway, Julio César Toledo Barajas was talking about Sako, who has used mainly Cammy and Ibuki in his tournaments except for recently since he picked up E, Ryu.
