I have also adopted plant based diet for 2 years. However I noted in Dr's diet, plant protein e.g legumes is quite lacking though with lots fruits and vege. Is there any reasons why and if fruits and veges without much legume intake suffice for protein intake?

请问卢医生蕃茄煮熟后茄红素提高很多倍,苹果蒸熟后果胶更容易吸收,红萝卜煮熟后身体更容易吸收,是否有些食材应该煮熟并加入生食里面? 红萝卜与南瓜有破坏维他命C的元素,是否有些食材不应该一起搅拌?

盧醫生, 謝謝妳把書本資料變為網上video, 更易明白, 正準備嘗試,。 請問是用奇異籽chia seed(video講是用chia seed, 而chia seed 遇水便會漲大很多倍) , 還是用芝麻(書本寫是用芝麻)? 謝謝!

both Chia seeds or sesame seeds , or flax seeds are alright. chia seed 遇水便會漲大很多倍: doesn't matter, just blend it. if no time to soak, since in blending juice, the proportion of seeds are small, it should not create significant problem. Ideally all seeds should be soaked, then discard the soaking water before use. p. 170-172 thank you for your comment

盧醫生,我去年食素時出現一個問題:我只要一吃堅果類食物(是白焗無鹽那種),不管份量多少,都令我長得滿面暗瘡(今年28年,從前從不生暗瘡),但停了吃素後反而暗瘡消退,請問是什麼問題呢?

我三十幾年不停生暗瘡,來m前三日用海帶排瘀血咁就同暗瘡拜拜,平時用木耳紅棗(三粒)煲湯,田七三旗參丹參石斛,山楂 仲有好多就可以KO暗瘡

唔會。係你食得唔夠多水果和蔬菜,要真係要好飽果隻,隔一陣間又食,包你飽,之後就唔怕凍,如果你想健康要買一部搞拌機

怕寒涼就揀紅棗,西芹,紅蘿蔔🥕,蘋果,香蕉呢啲好中性,怕寒加薑,如果怕煩唔好怪自己無好好照顧自己身體,老時要怪自己

有時在市面買的蔬菜可能有農藥, 是否用水洗就可以清除再生食? 在香港好擔心食物來源....T_T

hi Vickie, thank you for your message. please read the lower half page of p.169. in addition, to buy organic vegetable from an organic farm with good reputation can be considered. i will also buy vegetables which are not labelled "organic" but they just have an "organic look" or organic shape. eg, they are smaller size, with holes eaten by snail on leaves etc. most of the pesticides, are water soluble, so thoroughly wash and rinse by running water is essential. besides vinegar, soda powder or "tea tree powder" can also be used for washing
