Thank you for the English recipe. Is there any differences between using 酒餅丸 or just 酒? What is the strength of alcohol required? I have seen many recipes but this one is the closest to what my great grandma used to make. I am 東帝汶的客家人 🤗I really wanna learn how to make this. My great grandma used 酒餅丸 from what I can remember not sure if she used alcohol as well. I was still in primary school then. Thank you kindly in advance. 謝謝
if you use酒餅丸then you can save the cooking wine(rice wine). 酒餅丸is the Cantonese way without wine added, "紅麴米Red yeast rice"is the Hakka客家(mostly living in Canton district) way with wine added. I made both.
