Most practitioners, when doing this exercise, tend to focus on controlling the skin. However, as explained in our previous stick exercise video, the key is to control the skeleton "through" the medium, not to control the medium and then control the skeleton through it.
This is not just a play on words but a clarification of the primary and secondary relationship.
