京都駅から車で1時間半ほどいった深き山中にある「田舎の大鵬」。
二条でミシュランにも選出されている中華料理店「大鵬」の二代目である渡辺幸樹さんによる自然一体型のレストランである。
自ら育てた鶏肉や豚肉、米、野菜などの食材を中華料理の技法を駆使し、素朴で美味しい郷土料理に仕上げる。ここでは決まったメニューはなく、この自然環境でその時にとれた食材で料理を行う。
1日1組のみ。人数は4名から最大12名まで。
さて、この壮大なスケールのレストランで我々が体験したかけがえのないものとは・・・

INAKA NO TAIHO is located about an hour and a half drive from Kyoto Station, deep in the mountains.
It is a nature-oriented restaurant run by Koki Watanabe, the second generation owner of the Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant “TAIHO” in Nijo.
Using ingredients such as chicken, pork, rice, and vegetables that he raises himself, he uses Chinese cooking techniques to create simple yet delicious local cuisine. There is no set menu, but rather he uses whatever ingredients are available at the time in this natural environment.
Only one group per day. The number of guests can be from 4 to a maximum of 12.
Now, what is the most precious thing we experienced in this magnificent restaurant...
