Hi friends, Here are a few cooking tips for this recipe. 1) Use pork with a bit of fat. 2) I prefer using soft tofu instead of hard ones. 3) If you have kids, you can cut down the chilli bean sauce to 1 tbsp and red Sichuan pepper powder to 1/2 tsp. My son loves this dish. For young children, replace chilli sauce with 1 tbsp of oyster sauce and replace Sichuan pepper powder with a dash of white pepper powder. 4) Vegetarians can use plant-based pork.
