Welcome to this channel, My name is Yvonne. I'm a soap maker in Taiwan, if you like my videos, pls. subscribe and click the bell for notification.
I got a lot of dry calendula flowers from my friend, the color is really bright and beautiful. In this video, I tried 4 batches of soap with different way of infusion.
1. Infused with the petals
2. Infused with the smashed petals
3. Blend the petal with oil and infuse
4. No infusion, add 1% smashed petals
No.2 and No.3 shared very similar good result, but I personally prefer No.2 because it's much easier to clean the tools.

米糠油 Ricebran Oil: 300g
橄欖油 Olive Oil: 600g (浸泡油/infused oil)
椰子油 Coconut Oil: 450g
棕櫚油 RSPO - Palm Oil: 450g
乳油木果脂 Shea Butter: 200g
99%氫氧化鈉 Sodium Hydroxide: 292g
純水 Distilled Water: 470g
鮮乳 Fresh Milk: 200g
金盞花辦 Calendula Flowers: 適量/moderate
山雞椒精油 Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil: 10g
尤加利精油 Eucalyptus Essential Oil: 10g
薰衣草精油 Lavender Essential Oil: 20g
甜橙精油 Sweet Orange Essential Oil: 20g

the milk doesnt make a bad smells? cuz usually i direct pour to oil and after im adding lye water the milk was make soap smells bad..

Beautiful!! What can you use alternatively to palm oil please? And am I correct in saying the olive oil is divided into 4 parts for the calendular petals which is 150 g each? Sooooo love the silicone mold. Trying to find it here in NZ. Much appreciated!

You may use any kind of butter to replace palm oil, like Shea butter, cocoa butter…
