Why you know when to reach V1? As a passenger, Vr is easier to feel. Also, V1 only decide if plane can safely reject take off before overrun the runway. In this video, the runway condition is wet. That means the braking distance would be longer than dry runway, so V1 will significant earlier than Vr. But, by the book, Vr means the wings start to generate lift. Pilot can gently pull the nose up. In case of same OAT, air pressure, take off config and thrust, Vr will be same. It will not be effected by runway condition. In this video, this flight was taking off on RCTP 05L(3660m). Longer runway allow us to use lower take off thrust to reduse noise and engine maintain cost but use longer distance to lift off.
