Kagawa is undoubtedly a quality player, and I'm disappointed he didn't do well at United. He lacked confidence at United and was seldom played in his preferred position. I do think the premiere league was a bit too physical for him though, as he didn't adapt to the rough nature. I think he would have suited perhaps a side like Arsenal, that pack the midfield and play a sharp passing game. That would have given Kagawa the protection he needed to flourish in the Premiere league and allowed him to work his genius. I genuinely hope he does well at Dortmund as he seems like a good guy and has too much talent for it to be wasted.

As a Manchester United fan, I feel really bad for Shinji. He was bought as an Attacking Midfielder for us, but Rooney had drifted back into that role as there was never any room for him on the field. He's always been a great player, and a real class act off the field too, so I wish him all the best at Dortmund. This video really made me appreciate just how much the Dortmund club loves him, and that's great to see.

You see that Kagawa is a perfect fit for BvB. High speed build ups and simple finishes. United wasn't pretty much his style, lobs forward and crosses and slow build ups. Kagawa adjusted great though with the crossing. Really is a genious.
