Omg 😬 please look at hair straightening videos for natural type 3 curly hair so you can get a better idea of how to properly straighten it and not ruin your curls. I have the same hair type as you and you’ll get severe heat damage doing it this way as the woman tried to do in this video. You should never brush your curls out with a paddle brush dry and then proceed to straighten. I’m so sorry if I sound condescending I’m really not trying to be at all 🥰 so please forgive me if I’m coming off in a negative way, I’m not I assure you 😊 I just want you to be properly educated on keeping your curls as healthy as possible. This woman in the video knows nothing about your hair type so she wouldn’t understand how damaging this process can be.

Here's my hair routine before I straighten my hair! 💖 I have 3C hair but this works for my less curly haired friends as well __________ + Always start with with clean hair! I use an anti frizz shampoo (not needed but helps) + By now you should have your hair brushed out! After showering, I’ll use a leave-in conditioner (sprays work for me) and massage it in to your hair, followed by a heat protectant. Avoid rubbing your scalp! + YOU MUST use a heat protectant before ironing!! this is a very important step! it protects your hair while also making your hair look better. + Try to keep your hair hydrated try to condition 2-3 times a week! using anti frizz serums work for me :) this makes your hair look silky. + Invest your money on a good straightener or a salon professional level straightener. It is widely preferred to use a comb brush in the U.S. as it works very well! The comb shown here looks great! + Split your hair in half and work on small strands and work your way through. You never want to brush your hair out like normal with the iron brush as it would leave you looking frizzy. This also damages the hair, and prevents it from having that pin-straight hair look. + Adjust the Temperature as Needed. + Try to not go over 400 degrees! If you hear "sizzling" or smell burning when you touch a flat iron to your natural hair, even once, it's way too hot. + AVOID OIL WHEN STAIGTENING!! apply AFTER you're done! anti frizz if ok as long as you do not apply enough to make it dripping wet. Not necessary but useful tip: sleep with a silk bonnet on! trust me it does wonders. I hope I helped! Stay beautiful my friends! 💖

If your hair was wavier, it would be easier to brush and glide the hair straightener from a dry curly style. Most hair salons wash the hair, blow dry the hair straight, and then use a hair straightener especially if the hair has super tight curls. For filming purposes, I understand why you started straightening your hair in it’s curly state. For anyone that is planning on straightening curly hair, you will have an easier time straightening hair after a blowout. Um crime! 😢 além de estragar o cabelo não é assim que faz para alisar. Sem química e uma boa escova antes de pranchar. Infelizmente, ela não tem nem ideia é muito menos os profissionais coreanos. this video saddened me. Korean hairdressers don't know anything about curly hair, they don't know how to cut or care for it. the video is all wrong!
