Lovelyz is the one group that I know of that has a clean history. This girls is so unproblematic that some people find that problematic so they try to find something to hate but they always come out of it with empty hands. Sorry not sorry.

On September 1st, Lovelyz release their comeback with "Obliviate" as their title track. Obliviate is a memory charm/spell in Harry Potter's magic world. In the MV, there's an owl that dropped a small letter, and in the first Harry Potter books and movies, we also saw lots of owls dropping letter on The Dursley's house. Last but not least, on September 1st is the first day of wizards to study magic on Hogwarts. Coincidence? I don't think so. Lovelyz are wizardols (wizard-idols). And Jiae definitely sorted to Gryffindor.

I want to be honest. Lovelyz obliviate is the only song I've ever watched without reading the comment section in the middle of the MV. This song sounds different at first but the more you got into the song, you could feel Lovelyz there. This is a great continuation for Moonlight. Though I don't stan them, Obliviate is really my song. I would like to appraise both Lovelyz and Stardust for creating this amazing masterpiece. And also Lovelinus who loyally giving support for them. Let's do anything for their win in MS despite the tough battle.

Also to all the haters, saying they're boring and unpopular. Lovelyz actually hit it very big in Korea. They are super popular and big there and that's what Woollim aims with many of their groups!!

The uniqueness of the lovelyz song is that it is not only fixated on their concept, but rather on the harmonization between the members' voices (which even senior musicians have recognized). All members have their own distinctive voice (especially their vocal line), which, although different, can complement and blend into each other's voices. so if someone says that their signature is missing just because they try a different concept, that means that person does not know or understand the true uniqueness of Lovelyz's song.

A lot of portraits, a mirror which shows the opposite of the reality, a dare diary, a locket, an owl with post, a maze full of bushes, a pond which looks like the Pensive. They try to pick up the ring and got hurt their finger, and eventually they destroy all the items. The title, which's also one of the magical spells, apears just like the images of the Marauder's Map. +One of the composer's pen name is Jerry Potter lol I think this MV is an homage to Harry Potter.

i love the way they pronounced “Obliviate” normally people say “Ob-liv-ee-ate” but they say “ob-lee-vee-o-tae” it’s so elegant

For everyone telling Lovelyz to leave Woolim, you have to comprehend the fact that without Woolim there would be no more Lovelyz. Most Kpop idols who leave their companies almost always venture into individual projects in acting or modelling, or they completely retire from the entertainment industry and move onto other areas a.k.a RU-vid, livestreaming, etc... The case of B2ST members re-forming into HIGHLIGHT is a one rare exceptional case, and even with that they lost 2 members. T-ara went into a long lawsuit with their former company to obtain the copyrights of the name “T-ara”, in which they won, yet they haven’t had any comeback in 5 years. So yeah, the ladies of Lovelyz can leave the company if they think that is the better option for them, but don’t expect the group to keep going on, let alone the fact that the solo popularity for most members is not even mediocre, so don’t expect that the members, besides one or two, will continue in the entertainment industry, let alone the music industry. I wish they continue as a group because their music is a beautiful genre by itself ❤️

I've listened obliviate many times but just recognize that "stardust" whisper in the beginning, wow Fyi, stardust is producer of obliviate!

3 things! 1. I knew that they won’t just comeback with a more mature or sexier concept like other groups. They still got that vibe that only Lovelyz can pull off or rather, Woollim can pull off😉 much like with Golden Child 2. The Woollim trend with the strong beats combined with orchestral elements. I love that beginning was subtly off tempo-ish and quiet, then it picks up to the Obliviate & Down Down part. Definitely chef’s kiss! 3. The visuals and overall choreography are so much more detailed, creative and captivating! Overall, love love this comeback!

okay another theory, if you looked at their clothing from the start, they're wearing white clothings and had a blank/relaxed face while doing their daily routines. after they started realizing and took off their white blindfolds, their dresses changed colors and even their surrounding changed! it might symbolizes the hardships they had went through after trying to step out from their comfort zone. at last, they realised that all they had to do was letting the past go and not trying to satisfy other's standards. but one thing that's still a mystery (or maybe it will be continuing in their next part of trilogy), why did Jiae alone wears the blindfold again? and it's black!! omg i'm scared now ㅠㅠ

It is literally the best last comeback from a kpop group, lovelyz comebacks literally tell a story, from falling in love, to expresing your feelings to your lover, to a bittersweet break up song to finally being able to forget abt that relationship and moving foward.
