She's Ock Joo-hyun, one of, if not the top musical actress in SKorea. Formerly a 90s girl group lead vocal and then a solo ballad singer, she worked tirelessly in musicals to remove the stigma for idols and singers in the higher arts fields for almost 5 years until in 2010 she was noticed by Frank Wildhorn and given premiere role in Monte Cristo, Elisabeth, Marie Antoinette, Wicked and Rebecca in 2012-13. These musicals, especially Rebecca, blew her up to the top spot in the scene, and in 2016 Frank Wildhorn even wrote a musical just for her (Mata Hari).

Although I don’t understand the language, I still know the actors are amazingly good. Incredible singing, stellar acting. This seems a great production. Could someone please provide the actual title of the musical, where it was performed, a little background on plot, and names of these actresses? Any info would be most appreciated. My deepest thanks!
The title of this musical is Rebecca. It is based on the novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. It was also made into a movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock. An innocent and young woman, "I" arrives at a mansion owned by her husband's family after marriage. But there she faces the shadow of her husband's ex-wife Rebecca. The actress dressed in black is Ok Joo-hyun, a musical actor from an idol group, and the actress dressed in white is Lim Hye-young, a musical actor who plays "I".
@@ryutoging Thanks ever so much! I appreciate you filling me in on everything. I'm somewhat familiar with the book and author, but haven't read the novel through all the way. I definitely will do so now and will watch the movie, too. The musical adaptation appears to be great in and of itself, with such gifted singers/actors.I do hope someday it's adapted for Broadway. Looks great. Strange, I've always loved Beijing Opera and the traditional forms of music and storytelling found in different countries throughout the Orient, but never knew South Korea was a powerhouse in contemporary Broadway/West End style musicals. But wow, South Korea has come into its own in that genre! Watched clips online from "Chicago" that were recently released and a musical based on anime, "Death Note." Both appeared to be superb, with absolutely outstanding productions and performances! Lol, don't understand the Korean language but the acting, staging, and music were so good in both stage musicals, that they both kept my attention. Of course, I had seen Chicago previously, but not "Death Note." I highly recommend it. I'm sorry it wasn't allowed the opportunity to be shown here in the US. Solid musical! Again, thanks soooo much for your help. I do appreciate it more than I can express.
