❣I’m just so beyond excited! Jimin’s “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this makes me that much more excited, waiting in anticipation for release of the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” on March 24, along with his other, main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, 8 was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! I love the German poem on his chest. So beautiful. Jimin is such an intelligent person academically, people may not realize how much of a genius he is. This video is so poetic in its symbolism of black and white, dark and light, shadow self and higher self, demons and angels, etc. It is so powerful to witness his evolution, growth, and metamorphosis. It seems like the white at the end symbolizes either a clean slate from being set free, the butterfly emerging from the cocoon, or the Phoenix rising from the ashes. In all ways, it means transformation and rebirth. Great job, Jimin and everyone who was a part of this magnificent project!

totally agree this is so much better than kpop. and kpop stans hate it because it´s not what they are used to. but kpop need to change like hybe has said many times if they want to survive, and that´s all labels. Hybe has made so many interesting groups with different sounds to the kpop we know now. kpop songs tend to follow a certain formula so every song sound the same almost. that´s why people love the genre and not individuals i mean like shakira became big in the west but not all the other singers from brazil. and why psy and BTS broke through. and now bad bonny is up there too. those are the chosen ones the unique one. and PSY is most definitely unique in the kpop world and he has a humor people can understand. this song is rattling the kpop community right now and like pdogg said "jimin will end kpop in 2023" he was right. not because it has to be the best song, because everyone has different tastes but because of the total chaos that is going on.
