Literally someone has read my mind!!!! I've had my cape buffalo rangers for over a year now and it's the BEST BOOT I have ever owned. Being here in the central USA and being an avid deer hunter, I have been pondering on how a 6"or8" version of the African ranger would be the ultimate hunting/outdoor boot for hundreds if not thousands of American hunters/outdoorsman. This boot is absolutely the answer to my thoughts and the leather midsole is perfect. Expect another order for this boot soon!

My AR8s have been the perfect winter boot here in Nebraska. The fully gusseted tongue has kept the water/snow out of my boots when walking through several feet of snow. Awesome boots!

I have three pair of your boots and love them all. Please make a Cowboy boot. I want a western cowboy boot made by Jim Green. Rounded toe box and easy on and off. Some wing tip stiching and of course not a flat sole. The cowboy boot would be another huge market for you guys. Best of luck to you.

😯I thought you were out of buffalo leather! How long do you expect your stockpile to last? Considering commissioning a boot, in buffalo leather if possible!

My razorbacks have become one of my favorite shoes but I find that I can’t wear them at work cause I technically need black steel toe shoes. Jim Green has told me they can do it. It will cost me 179 plus 40 for the shipping. After seeing what they can do I think I’ll hold off until the website starts offering the customized section again. Were it any other boot I would just give up but after seeing how my razorbacks just laughed off what I threw at them and having a local cobbler who can resole them? Well can’t say no to that. The rubber lug sole and the 2 layers of leather kept my feet warm despite the sub freezing temperatures up here. I’ve got the African Rangers for warmer spring and summer into the fall and the razorbacks for other conditions. I’m hoping that Jim green will be here for the long haul cause I like their products

If possible I would order an AR8 barefoot and Shoellie barefoot, both in houston green or maybe buffalo :) Loving my Barefoot ARs!

Is this a Baobab with a toe cap or a Numzaan with a pull strap? I guess really my question is what are the differences between those two boot models?

Man they look amazing. I’ve been looking at the Iron Rangers, but these really do appeal to me. The addition of the Loop, leather midsole and perhaps different finish on the leathers…very nice!! Be great to see a UK distributor for sure!! UK boot scene is a bit ‘stuffy’ been looking American, now it seems I’m looking South African. Size 13, never much choice growing up but seem a bit spoiled now with these bigger sizes!!

Oh man could you imagine if they use some Venetian and wax up this roughout? I think it would look really cool as an offered leather option. According to Nick Horween, that's what they use to wax up their waxed flesh and waxed roughout.
