This morning I gave the underlying philosophy of why I think Tesla is worth $1200 right now, and in this video I give the timing when it will actually get to $1200. Meanwhile the stock market is way too bullish.

I have no doubt you are right about where Tesla will ultimately go, but I am not as optimistic that it will get there quite that soon. How about comments on -Tesla announcing their third megapack factory -Tesla's China megapack factory announcing end 1st quarter 2025 production -2024 production of Tesla EVs is at least one more than 2023 production as Elon says it will be -announcement of new less expensive versions of the 3 and the Y

Strange,there is almost no news on Rivian or Lucid.Sure to have both running out of money. Unless some legacy automaker buys them out and uses their technology. 700$ would be great but let's wait and see.

I have well past $1 million I invested yet I'm under water because I bought 3 years ago. I will really celebrate just to get even. It's most of my money. But $1200? 1500? Hard to fathom but would be an incredible relief.

I hope you are correct, $1200-$1500 by EOY 2025? That seems more optimistic than Cathy Wood. I think that fund managers will have to see what you have said PLUS a clear turnaround trend on margins and EPS. That would mean $1500 by late 2026 to early 2027. Optimus sales starting up in early 2025 could speed that up by 6-8 months but like i said, i hope you're right.

Do you have FSD in your Tesla? I just drove 1,000 miles in FSD v12.5.1 between Orange county and all over Las Vegas the past 11 days. Have been a beta tester for 2 years(since v10.x.x) and you stating you don't think they will achieve level 5 this year doesn't add up to me. Can you elaborate on why you think this based on your own FSD experience? I think there is a far better chance at level 5 announcement than not. And I have over 15k FSD miles logged.
@RP-16
@RP-16 26 дней назад
@@MyPapagio never driven a Tesla. Currently they are at about 400 miles to critical intervention. They need about 17k (Waymo when they started). Even though avg normal drivers are much higher. Around 17k miles is the minimum. Now they have about 4 and a half months to get from 400 to 17k. Elon said last 2 releases would improve by 5-10x each. That didn’t turn out to be true. NOT EVEN CLOSE. So I don’t see it happening this soon. And given how it took many many years just to get here. And they’re still trying to get 12.5 on hw3. Progress isn’t quick enough. Maybe next year.
@MyPapagio
@MyPapagio 26 дней назад
@RP-16 the fact you are comparing Tesla in any way to Waymo indicates you don't quite understand how Tesla's approach, starting only a year ago, is completely different. Tesla FSD shifted about a year ago from heuristic based code to a purely end to end neural network based system. The first release on this completely different system was in Jan/Feb of this year (V12). The updates are increasing at an exponential rate, and the data you are quoting lags by several updates, at least. V12.5.X release is so significantly better than 12.3.6 and you don't have access to this data nor did Elon during the most recent earnings call. I highly suggest that you find someone near you that has v12.5.1.X and take a test drive. Granted this won't give you data based info it will show you what is really happening right now. Your mind will be blown. But the point is, the take rate and the use rate is growing exponentially with each update improvement. I myself would have never used any version before v12.5 to drive me everywhere I went in Vegas for the 3 full days I was there more drive me there and back the entire time. I literally logged close to 1,000 miles on FSD this past week. It's ability has no crossed the tipping point where many just like me will significantly increase their use of FSD, which in turn ramps up the data that ramps up the compute. That's the thing about exponential curves, it hits you before you can see it. I believe you are stuck in linear thinking. This ain't Waymo.

Anytime someone makes a prediction on a future price and then immediately says "could be more, could be less" their credibility goes out the window. You either have the balls to make a prediction you standby or you dont.

IMO TSLA is worth $1200 today, the fact it’s hovering around $200 is a testament to how the market does what the market does. Nobody knows with certainty what the market will do to a T or when.

@Crazyreseller I agree it's worth 1200 today. And while I believe the stock price will be $500 by Nov and on the way to 1k by Jan, you won't catch me following that statememt up with "could be more, could be less." Only people who don't have conviction (or balls) do that. If you don't have the balls to stand by your own conviction, then don't make the prediction public.

The notion that Tesla is going to decide when FSD can be used unsupervised is a fallacy. Everyone likes to say only 3 states have laws governing autonomous vehicles, but they apparently don't know about all the state level legislation that's already in the pipeline, and that the feds are giving guidance to states on what that legislation should look like. The National Conference of State Legislatures has a page on their web site that details all the legislation currently in the works AND the executive orders issued by governors. On top of that Musk has already stated that he expects regulatory approval to take between one and five years, depending on location. This does not even take into account what cities are going to require, regardless of state laws. And then there's the issue with what insurance companies are going to say about it. This is not going to happen as quickly as people think.

@davidwill1320 26 дней назад
@@grahambrown42 I know all about Waymo. Read my post again. Legislation is IN THE WORKS and most, if not all, states have the words "pilot program" in it. States, and many cities, are not going to let Tesla unleash thousands of POVs that are unsupervised, without some process to insure they are safe. Go check it out. The National Conference of State Legislatures has a page on their web site that details all the legislation currently in the works AND the executive orders issued by governors. People are dreaming if they think this is just going to be a matter of flipping a switch.
