there's a graphic novel/manga series for it, not sure if it's any good but there's a lot that is possible with the rich lore that soulsborne games have
for anyone wanting to know the cinder's lore: soul of cinder is the incarnation of every undead who once linked the fire, this includes the chosen undead, barer of the curse and the ashen one (ds1,2 and 3 accordingly) and Gwin, aka the guy who begun it all because he was the first to kindle the flame, delaying the cycle of the world and bringing the undead curse with it but that's too much to explain on this comment so put yo bets here :)
