B1-ter is a badass tank but it really shines when it gets top tier. I have legit had half the enemy team shooting me point blank for 30-45 seconds before they finally took me down. That thing is a beast.

As a French tank enthusiast and B1 Ter expert let me tell you this. With the French 47 you can not shoot anything at an angle as it likely bounce off or not pen at all and just stop. With the 75mm shooting center mass or at average angled armour will usually give you a nice penetration in the tank. I've found shooting the hull of anything at the tier expect maybe a T-35 as it's big will usually result in the entire tank exploding due to the nice explosive filler.

There is a story about a lone B1 bis a the "bataille de Stonne" in 1940 that just run over a whole german section hidden in a ditch along the road. The rest of the germans keeping the village fleed when they seen the bloody tracks of the beast. After the battle they named that tank "Le Boucher de Stonne" or *"The Butcher of Stonne"*
