Ghost Game is about to end and everything you said was exactly the case. The show is garbage and absolutely takes the title of worst Digimon show ever.

This video has aged extremely well after that shitty ending. It's also hilarious how much copium is being inhaled with fans of this trash wanting a continuation. It hasn't earned that right, that's for sure.

Idk I really enjoyed GG its a fun sci-fi fantasy horror slice of life.

I like Ghost Game the cast is charming and the show makes me happy overall

I’ve rewatched this video like 4 times now, every time because I got annoyed at how this show wasn’t going no where, and now that the show is over, I feel the same, it was mildly entertaining, but is not something I’ll watch ever again, there’s no need to.

I am so solidly in that boat of 'If this wasn't Digimon I wouldn't still be watching'. Monster of the week isn't even new (see Appmon and Boy Hunters) and it takes away from all the story, growth, and characters that really make this franchise great. I hope there is a break after this season so they can take a breath and get back to what they do well.

I love the show. Ala the characters, the vibe. BUT! It’s literally going nowhere. And is almost pointless. I want a fricken through line. It’s spinning it’s wheels and it’s annoying. The latest episode answered Hiros letter to his dad with “IDK” like really? Are you kidding. We waited for an IDK. What’s happening with gulusgammamon? Black Gatomon? Black agumon? Blackgargomon? It’s squandering it’s potential.

Huh, this is an unfair dislike ratio to the video. But I guess it shows that most people expecting a quality product have already left.

i think it’s good but we’re 34 weeks in and the plot as gone absolutely no where and the characters development is very surface level. i want so much more out of the show but watching it weekly is fun. it’s just a fun show but nothing amazing

Ghost Game commited the cardinal sin of not having a coherent plot, or well there could have been a plot if it picked a lane and stuck to it. It felt like I was watching Tamers, correction, it made me want to go back and watch tamers instead.

Do you plan to do another video talking about Ghost Game, now that the series is ending...?

It's decent - about a 6/10 for me at this point, but I dislike how episodic it has remained. It's definitely far and away from Digimon Tamers (or season 3, if you count it that way), which was epic.

Instead of being a horror and sliced-off-life show. How about make it a horror and mystery show of having the main human characters as detectives.

I'm here to report that Ghost Game has officially ended and delusional fans still will not accept that they wasted their time watching this show from week to week nor will they believe that it's actually over. Many are expecting a second season and just cannot fathom such a trashy season of Digimon was put out for public consumption. It's quite amusing, I must say.

I personally don't mind the episodic/Monster of the week format of Ghost Game given I am very used to said format given it was used in other anime I've seen (mostly Magical Girl anime).
