Wanting to put some snow over a castle diorama I bought only the micro balloons… what would be the best way to apply it??

iam a little bit confused, whats the exact difference between the two snow product AK1227 and AK8011. in other videos it is marketed as scifi scenery but in this video its used for realistic baseing, while the AK8011 is marketed for realistic baseing but its not used here. i couldnt find any comparison between this two products or explanation on the internet. can you pls clarify this, iam absolutly not sure which one to buy, ty
