It's stunning. Real ergonomic interface, very articulate. It's a much more visual way to learn how to master these synth parameters and get a handle on what I'm affecting. Thank you :)
I used to have a real Juno 60, and I have it recorded in an old session. I put the TAL up against it and matched sounds as close as I could. It’s incredible. Most realistic vintage synth emulator I’ve heard so far. The real one is a bit richer but hard to tell. The biggest difference is with hard filter cutoffs. Digital can’t hit the brown note like analog can. On a completely separate topic, do you have any clever tricks for getting protools files into reaper properly and lined up without converting them inside protools or using expensive apps like AATranslator or ProConvert? I just opened one and it was 347 tracks 😐
Strangely I like most the freeware TAL bassline than the the commercial version. But the Juno is better in the commercial version. I really like both, quite use them everytime.
They created an audio unit for iPadOS that is supposed to sound the same. I wonder how many producers use iPads as sound modules another excellent video. Thanks
It's $60 on Plugin Boutique. It's been updated a bunch of times since this video. www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/4-Synth/423-TAL-U-NO-LX-Synth&a_aid=5d379c386cabb
