let me guess, before you heard about the congo all you knew about belgium was something about waffles, and now congo + waffles is the entire entent of your knowledge on belgium. do you do leave similar one-trick-pony comments on every other countries' videos? every time you visit a german video something about nazis, a british video something about forced famine in india & countless other things, when it's a dutch video something about atrocities in the east indies, japan = massacring chinese & korean babies, USA = genocide of native americans, spanish = atrocities all over the americas and also in what is now belgium btw, and so on? as if that's their entire history and the entire basis for their wealth? no, of course not, you've just been conditioned to forever hate on anything relating to belgium, which was really easy to do if all you know are dumbass little stereotypes. it's a very common trope. most of the classical building you see here were around hundreds of years before the congo btw. we do have an actual history before and after, not that you will ever look into any of that... but please continue, you dolt.
