Yes, but more in certain areas and time of day. I have to admit mosquitoes almost ran me back home after I moved here. They ate me alive and they are small and black but hit like a punch. I couldn’t understand why I could be somewhere with Dominicans and they wouldn’t be bitten but I would. They said because I was new foreign blood. I actually believe that now because I rarely ever get bitten now.
