This is certainly no easy challenge. The car control is very peculiar, to say the least - strong horse power, strong brakes, both of these characteristics being an outlier compared to a normal car. Then the track is also peculiar in its own way - super wide at certain corners which takes much longer for me to understand or to find the best line. Put these together, I have gotten stuck at a low 1:22 for quite a while, and my provisional gold time right now is certainly not safe if P1 nails a perfect lap (there's definitely 0.1-0.2 to cut if all he pulls an absolute ideal lap).
I can absolutely comprehend your explanation. Also first got stuck in low 22‘s before getting to constant high 21‘s and Gold sector already. But due to not feeling safe I tried some more until I got to 21,6‘s and finally to the 21,450 to feel safe until the challenge ends 👍
My fastest time is 1:23:00 on this track. With this car. I am struggling to learn my self shifting how you are doing it. I'm not used to shift all the way down in the first corner and then go to third again
But in general you are using manual shifting, do you? If so, it is just a matter of getting used to it. For example I also trained myself to not use TCS anymore. When starting to change habits, it is really strange and exhausting at first, but once you are getting used to it, it is nice to see improvements in laptimes 👍
@@aubitube yes i always use manual shifting. But my habit is to use the gears more for example in the first corner on this track i shift to second gear and then i give gas end then i shift to third. I still use TCS too but i have set it on 4.
Wow, TCS 4 is pretty restrictive. Maybe try lower and go to the accelerator pedal more sensitive. Should give you a time benfit with some practice on the long run.
